i know bro. i was just trying to release my thoughts in the keys before they faded! (that means my writing is faulty!)

though i did think it was a possibility, because his beginning was really not a beginning. i dont think there is a place to pinpoint where his "performance" began. it was weird.

yeah, i was so tempted to just give her a smack on the ass, but then i noticed her huge boyfriend.

Posted by umes23 on Aug-29-2003 19:42:

guys, im glad u liked the girl scene!!!
but, does it have to be discussed on the pvd review?!

Posted by NYCTrancefan on Aug-29-2003 19:56:

its all part of the atmosphere. After all when i go clubbing I am motivated by the DJ, the set and the girls, which all adds up to the atmosphere. To say any different I would be lying. I wish that PVD was playing for another 4hrs I would have stood out there until they threw me out the park.

why not? it's all part of the same event. when you review an event, you don't just talk about the DJ's traklist and his mixing.

were u wearing a vandit shirt? i might have exchanged some words with you early on. like about the sunglasses!? (i had my pvd party essential: black twilo hat signed by him on)

you're totally right-- i was out of my mind lol-- i meant to put PvD's Connected tune.. dunno what i was thinking,.

no, i didn't have a vandit shirt on.. (i was in the minority haha)
i had a shirt with the map of the london subway system on it... i don't 'member meeting anyone with a twilo hat tho.. sorry!

I dont know if u all noticed but right in fron when pvd played crush the guy runnin back and fourth with the brown kakis on and vandit shirt going nuts was second sun..... thought more people would know but i guesse not. He loved every second of it when pvd was playing crush and all u guys were going nuts he was in his glory!!!!! u all made his night by fealing his song so much..

i guess you do, i dont.
im more interested not just in the djs tracklist but anything he brought across to the place, people and vibe. when i talk about crowds i dont really focus in on hotties. i talk about how the crowd affected me or how the crowd as a whole affected the party or dj. its alright, tlak about whatever u want....just a different point of view. go to ultra, where everyone is in a bikini then

Fun fun fun fun fun night....

My back was hurting so much by the end of that shit.

We love Paul he's the man.

It was a give and take show. He gave us so much new and (can I say) non-PvD like tunes. But he took Eternal (Nu-NRG remix), Mayela, Dreaming, Born Slippy, Another Way........you see my point. He needs to be up there for at least 6hrs for me to be satified.

Lasers...amazing...my PvD high could have been supplemented

Women...great too see it was a sausage fest.

Sound...well, it wasn't Phazon

NYC...gotta love it

Thumbs up WOW

iOMG...i had a great time last night......got there a little late(6:30) so i missed the beginning of his set....got to the city late so i missed the TA meetup...sorry guys, i will definately probally meet you at armin if you're going...
i thought it was a nice change of pace being outside in central park for an event like this.....rather than a club....definately the way to end the summer i would have to agree that it was chill in the beinning of his set--but didn't you already expect that??? he wasn't going to throw it down until the sun went down.....but when he did, HE DID--laser show was amazing, sound system sucked(but were at summer stage, not twilo), crowd was allright..i thought that a lot of people were rude (bumping into me and knocking me over ) but they were probally real f*cked up... would liked to have heard him spin a couple of more hours to really complete his set....6 hours would have been perfect
anyway my friends and i had such a great time......my highlight of the night--for an angel.....i couldn't believe he dropped it...did anyone notice the teaser he did an hour before he played it??? i couldn't believe he did that to us
another observation was the amount of puma sneakers...i was wearing pumas too, but WTF are they the official party sneaker.....
i guess we all have good taste
can't wait to see pvd in november

Smoking ..umm..something PvD Summerstage

I have to say, last night was, overall, awesome.

I got in about half an hour late so I missed seeing Paul react to the skipping record (too bad, too). Early on no one was dancing and it was pretty weak (I actually saw one or two people bail) but by 8 when they hit the lasers and strobes the party really got going. The crowd was great, it really fed off PvD and vice versa. He looked like he was having such a great time.

The sound system could certainly have been better, but it was Summerstage after all, so you can't expect that much. The set was good, at least. I certainly didn't mind him dropping a few tracks twice. And the weather was perfect.

If anyone has some decent pics of the event pm me, I'd like to see them (I left my camera home). Also, I have a question for you guys. I bought the blue PvD logo shirt but it turned out to be a size small. Is there anywhere I can get another one without paying the 17 euro shipping and handling that the Paul van Dyk store website wants to ship to the US?

Any help is appreciated.
