| Originally posted by charmscars Wow. very good night. I was very impressed. The event went off w/o a hitch. The club is great. Very spacious and great sound (not as good as Guv's but definitely second in the GTA) and wicked lights (lazers were better than at guv IMO). The place was perfectly packed but never too rammed to bust moves, which I appreciated as a regular at Guv events. The layout of the club is pretty good too. w/ a lounge area in the back and a mostly obstruction-free dancefloor. The opening DJ's were very good. I was glad that we arrived early and got to hear DJ Eso and DJ Mobius. The other DJ (the viva resident i think) that followed them also performed well. Dumonde were a lot of fun. A very energetic set that had the room dancing. I loved it! The people that were there to see Dumonde (a few regulars i met had no idea that a special event was taking place except for the elevated cost of entry) had such amazing vibe and energy...it felt more like parties from the past (i mean this in the best possible way). It was soooo good to hear godd music being played out. *happy sigh* *cheese alert* The tunes were so hard and pumping and the venue was so perfect and everyone around me seemed so into it, it felt like the scene in Groove where digweed drops heavenscent. It was also great to hear Mark in that setting. What a versatile DJ! It was only a few weeks ago that he was laying down a sick opening prog set at Lotus for Digweed, and to hear him switch to trance and do it so well... He is very good at playing the perfect set for the type of event and DJ that performs before/after. a close to perfect night. much respect to Temporal Rythym for throwing such a good party. I am so thoroughly impressed w/ you! No complaints about anything at all! taraxo shoutouts to come.... |

WTF !!" - Desidel on tribe Hopefully that will answer your question about them wanting to come back! itikia |
OMG what a party!!!
It started for me at 9 o'clock when me and Durafei came to Franky Tomatos. I did not expect that there would be sooo many TA's there, our gatherings in Montreal usually had 20 ppl at most. But now since I am back for good I'll have to get used to TOTA realities
DJ Eso played a good set, I could see that he was neverous, I am pretty sure it will be even better set next time
DJ Mobius - amazing set, two thumbs up, very energetic techno start and very nice transition to trance. Thomas vs Filterheadz - Sunshine rules
Walter Rosatti - got the crowd CRAZY, amazing set, when Dumonde got on the decks the crowd was more than ready for it.
Dumonde - 15/10
Never, never heard such an energetic live set in my life! TR, bring them back!!!!
I could not stay for Mark Oliver, had lots of plans for Saturday, did not want to go to bed at 8 in the morning.
I managed to get to VIP area next to the DJ booth right before Dumonde set, and they signed my Never Look Back vinyl, that was the happiest moment of the night for me
They are amazing!!!

The music was amazing tho, the atmoshpere was insane...
dj eso and mobius played great sets, as did walter rosati and Dumonde. Didnt get to see Mark oliver tho.
Now that im well rested
That was an absolutely amazing party.....I felt a vibe that hasnt been felt for me personally for like 5 years...
BIG THANX TO ALL THE T'A's for helping everyone have a wikkid time....
BIG THANX to All THE D'J's.....absolutely unreal combination of sets..
I dont think anything or even webster and his dictionary could really describe Dumonde.....
thats my best guess
was there a recording of the set??? i would really love if we could get it up for a download!
we need a set from dumonde up...any for that matter would be great!!!

Dj eso and Mobius spun beautifully and dropped some crazy tunes, walter rosati absolutly blew my mind, although i have to say, Dumonde, put me in a trance state of mind. Altogether, absoloutly awsome party.

These past 2 days since the party I've been getting the craziest chills thinking about how friggin incredible that night was!!!
Its amazing how great parties can lift your spirits up so high that you smile for the rest of the week. FUCK I'll be smiling for the rest of my life remembering how great that was.
Massive respects to Eso for laying down some wicked tracks and to Mobius who threw down an incredible set that had me sitting for all of Walter Rosati's set since you tired me out.
DuMonde.... What can I say? A dream come true. Hearing sooo many of my favorite tracks pounded live put me in a state of enternal bliss. - Hearing Memory nearly made me cry on the dance floor! The last hour of pure DuMonde tracks simply knocked my socks off.... Binary Finary, Jurgen Vries The theme, Never Look Back, Tomorrow.... OMFG!!!!!
Mark Oliver played HARDSTYLE!!! God damn were you trying to kill us? DuMonde had my quads all cramped up but beats that good cannot be ignored!
Please does anyone know that hardstyle remix of DJ Miko's What's Going on he played around 5:30?
And finally to the TOTA Family: If DuMonde was cake you'd be the icing and all I wanna do is eat it ALL! FUCKING OWNAGE!
Shouts to the newbies:
JSpot: Ok you're not a newbie persay but you've now been initiated into TOTA. Welcome, you're gonna fit in here very nicely!
MpJohnson: met you briefly at the dinner and more in depth as we nursed our injuries. Damn shame about you're knee.. DuMonde must return just for you!
TranceVeggie: Great to party with a fellow HD Associate .. hahaha. Now you must POST!

Well, although i didn't stay too long at viva (well not as long as i usually stay anyways while i'm clubbing), i had a great time... got in to the club about half an hour into mobius' set, and he had the place jumping! i missed most of walter rosati's set due to chatting with many TAs i met there, but what i heard was very nice... dumonde were great, very different trance from what is usually heard on an avg. club night i guess, lotsss of energy in their music...
unfortunately i had to split around 4 cuz i was dead tired and couldn't keep my eyes open, i wish i could've stayed longer cuz it seems i missed the best part of the night... :/
YEs it was definatly a night to remember!
Dumonde are a great bunchof guys i even got to shake thier hands! lol doesn't sound like much but it made the night extra special!
Finnally time to burn i got out and we partied hard! Yeah the hd associates were loud and proud that night! I'm finnally posting yeah happy now!
Even though i'm new i met a ton of TAs that night! Desidel it was nice meeting you but i think we both understood that we can't chat it up when you have such crazy beats coming from two crazy germans!
All in all it was an amazing experience i'm glad i was there even if was for only an hour and a half!
I would also like to add that I had an amazing night too. It was so cool seeing all the TAs even in the first line up waiting to get in and lend support to our TA DJs. And inside the club, the entire front area was filled with TAs, it was like a VIP area! Thanks to all for coming out and thanks to TR for bringing such great DJs to town.
I imagined them a lot smaller than they were. Those guys were giants! They were also very friendly even if they didn't speak English too well.
The whole night was amazing and can't wait for what TR is holding up their sleeve for the next time.

Scheie! Scheie! Scheie!
This was a good party (one of the best in the last few years). I felt like I was at some of the parties I went to back in the late 90s. The vibe was electric and the music was exquisite. Classic tracks were utterly amazing. DuMonde did a bang-up job! Thanks to TR, Viva and DuMonde for making it possible. Honestly I don't think anything could have been done to make it better.
Greets to all the beautiful people (TOTAs) who came out to make the night great!
its been too long since Ive been on a computer
IM IN WITHDRAWL!!!
DUMONDE ROCKED!
wow...after LoL of sunday, I was really disapointed in the TO scene. Theres more vibe and energy in an empty room in Calgary than in Guv/Kool Haus on Sunday...I thought that was about to be the norm for my next 3 years of partying...then I get to Viva
First off, I thought it would have been alot bigger(wow..PvD in there would have been crazy, almost dangerous maybe) BUT the club is IDEAL!!! maybe a lil bigger in the 19+ area but otherwise flawless. great lights, great sound, I thought it was plenty ventilated, dance floor is good, dj booth is good location...just a GREAT CLUB!!!!
Im a bit late w/ my review, so ill stick to the basics
Mobius---that first track intruder...wow..never heard it before, its killer!!!!
everybody played good opening sets..kept the energy high enough for Dumonde to kick it into high gear, but not too high to tire us out. Well done to all the openers.
DUMONDE BLEW ME AWAY! I hadnt expected them to be that good they just were amazing...too bad about the XLR/RCA mess up eh Del?.
They were so hard, so melodic, such a perfect perfect night!
THAT is what clubbing is supposed to be about. The TAs in there made for a great night.
It was perfect for me to party w/ all of you..and I think I know who you all are, but Im not sure, I met alot of ppl, and only remember 10 or so...so if I forget you, dont take offense, im meeting ppl in rez, and on TA, so theres about 150 new names for me to remember and its all a bit much.
REVIEW FOR NATALIE
it sucked, you didnt miss a damn thing. you probably had more fun @ seaman.
ok I lied, it was amazing...you missed out in a big way. you should have broken an arm
, or something preventing you from flying...we(I) missed you!
so to Tara, Matt, Erika, Az, Margaret, Graham, Del, Rj, aww fuck it, this is taking too long
to everybody I met, you are all great ppl, and made me feel at home. Thanks. It was nice(I felt loved)
