I'm not overly depressed, but not in a good time in my life... I think a lot has to do with summer being over and school starting... everyone has school so it's harder to see friends and most of my close friends don't like going out, which I love to do... No girl in my life, in love with one that I can't be with, car got hit tonight by some dumb drunk fucks who kicked over a newspaper box, no job with school back on, and it being cloudy and overcast weather constantly doesn't make for the most optimistic start to days when u look outside in the morning... bah! Here's to all of us depressed TAs finding some better luck soon and to the happy TAs to keep living it up!

As much as people seem to find relief in drinking and drugs, I cant get the idea that one of you may end up being one of the dumb mother******s who ruin people's lives (my little brother's included) by hitting them while drunk and driving. Not to say that I expect anyone of you to do such a thing, but the idea is there, thats why when Im depressed I stay as far as I can away from drugs and alcohol.

I am not depressed, but I am a little frustrated with my love life and my studies. When the latter goes up, the former goes down, and when the latter goes down, the former...also, goes down...sigh.

I am depressed bacuse i have glandular fever - an itchy rash that covers my whole body (due to antibiotics) and half my face is paralised (not kidding!)

I am also banned by the doc from drinking alchahol, doing exercise and kissing.

I think that gives me the right to be pissed off....

Firstly I'd like to say, which has already been stated E doesn't make people depressed. It does have a long term effect, if used constantly of depression, but I think it will make depressed people more depressed (either in time or depth) but I feel better then ever(and have been commented the same) due to what I have learnt over the ~40 pingers in the last 2 years. If people have depression and take E of course it's not going to make things any better. Sepcualtion of course, but that's what I've learnt from personal experience and a fair bit of reading on the subject.

I'm not someone who suffers depression but have noticed a lot of people here do. I'd like to know why those who are depressed picked Trance for their escape(if that's what it is).

I have spent about a year of my life not being as happy as I am now, but I was still enjoying myself. Generally life is great, and Im an optimist realist.

I've got plenty more questions/thoughts on this, but would like some of the above answered first.

There's a difference between depression (a chemical imbalance in the brain which is VERY hard, and takes years to naturally fix), and being pissed off.

Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.
