Not really that big a fan of it. Its alright but I don't really see why the track is so good, and why the vocals are different from all cheesey trance tunes.

I prefer Winter Sun

I hear wot you're saying AndskiSpeed BUT if you have heard PVD play
this out or Armin (as he did at Turnmills Christmas Party) it really
does tear the roof off ... I think you will find Ian Van Dahl or
Ultrabeat won't have the same effect

I'm gunna have to agree with goatboy on this one. Nothing really has the ability to absolutely devastate a dancefloor. PvD dropped it when I saw him in October and I almost died (along with the rest of the crowd). It's a great peak-hour vocal track that just seems to get everyone dancing harder. I don't know what it is about it either, but it definitely does the trick.

Indeed I flipped out when PVD played this at Space Ferry played it as well when I saw him Sat. I agree about the promos going to big DJs too early... thank god I got CD players

Posted by AndskiSpeed on Jan-07-2004 15:11:

I'm sure its way better when pvd drops it. I'm yet to experience it live yet though so I can't really judge, but from listening at home its not as floorfilling as F+W - You will understand

A: Club Mix <-- the one most everyone plays. i love this!
B: Deep Mix <-- i dont like. its kinda regressive/boring :-/

cheers,

art

The version I play is not the same as PVD has played (is it the Deep Mix??) It has an instrumental breakdown and the 2X chorus before this breakdown and 2X after. I like it and think its better structured, the 5X chorus in the other gets a little repetitive.

isnt their a "Armin's Universal Soul Mix" ??

Posted by ()mar.( on Jan-10-2004 18:09:

This track is great. Amazing vocals, amazing synths...great work.

Posted by KrissO on Jan-31-2004 13:46:

After listening to 2 *cough* releases then i've concluded with this:

The best and most popular mix which was first known as Club Mix = Original Mix
The one armin played on asot lately aka Deep Mix/Armin Remix = Club Mix
And the last one known as "Remix" = Remix

Posted by benchristopher on Mar-16-2004 17:46:

just ordered the vinyl incl. pvd edit

Posted by PVD fanatic on Mar-16-2004 20:11:

the vinyl comes w/ pvd edit ??

Posted by benchristopher on Mar-16-2004 22:14:

look @ chemical records

Posted by Spang on Mar-16-2004 22:18:

When the original/club mix coming out on vinyl?

The promos have been floating around for a while on ebay and some online stores yet the PVD mix gets released straight away.

I need the club mix

Posted by KrissO on Mar-16-2004 22:51:

There's been some confusion about the mixes of this tune.
But isn't the first and most played one the Original Mix ?
And the one known as Deep Mix is actually the Club Mix ?
Or is off. labeling Deep Mix ?

Posted by PVD fanatic on Mar-16-2004 23:04:

how much different is the club mix and the pvd rework??

Posted by benchristopher on Mar-17-2004 06:32:

I think PVD always played his edit, because the bassline sounds a bit different from the club mix which I have on vinyl (from tune inn records)

Posted by KrissO on Mar-17-2004 10:04:

Of course he does. That's what PvD does. He's a DJ. And he's a editor/beat changer.

I'm surprise this got released.
But ok, maybe it sounds good with the PvD beat, not heard it yet.

Posted by popop on Mar-18-2004 03:22:

OMg people still talking about the names of the mixes LOL

Original club Mix = Original Mix
Deep mix = Club Mix
Armin Mix = Club Mix
Pvd Edit = Original Mix + PVD kick drum
Chill out Mix = Chill out Mix
Remix = Demo/1st draft of the club mix

The PVD edit is hillarious, as someone said xtravaganza wasted the chance for some up and comer to remix this and gave it to PVD who has done FUCK ALL but add his own kick drum over the top of the original mix. THATS IT !

Anyone could have done that for fuck sake

Absolutely disgraceful

waste of time

It's not the first time.

I can't belive pvd released this...how sad...altho its better than the poo original

The Deep Mix AKA Club Mix is by far the best version.

May that be the last time I reply here

It wasn't PvD who released it, it was Xtravaganza. Altho I must admit that I am suprised that it got released since PvD has only layered his kick over it. Fuck knows why it made it to vinyl...

I'm more surprised they didn't name it Pvd feat. Agnelli & Nelson
