LMAO! That's cool. That was one of the funniest movies ever! I'd say that one rivaled 'Amazon Women on the Moon!'

As far as Glow, I used to hang back then in Zei Alley

Glow moving would be awesome! I can't wait!

were those some times or what! i remember before the police started really cracking down on that place how out of control it was. the vip section up top was insane! girls walking around undressed, people doing coke off of keychains in the bathroom, guys getting oral right in front of people! they used to have strippers come in and strip to the music on certain nights. man ive never seen a vip section more off the hook than the old zei club. me and my friend used to go there all the time and it was awesome. every walk of life was on the upper level of that place. that was the first club i used to go to where id stay till the sun came up. saw some great djs there like scot project , taucher, johnny vicious, atb, cosmic gate etc. i remember when tiesto spun there for the first time. i waited in line for 2 hours in the middle of january without a coat on. back then the club was just unprepared for the amount of people that showed up. sometimes i miss that level of energy that club was able to create....

OH YEAH MET A LOT OF PEOPLE THERE BACK IN THE DAY THAT WOULD EVENTUALLY BE ON THESE BOARDS. I USED TO TALK ABOUT THIS SITE TO PEOPLE BACK THEN TO ANYBODY WHO WOULD LISTEN!

LMFAO!!! Dude, you're so right on with that post that it makes me think that we were lucky to have escaped with our lives. LOL.

The 'Prive' was more than just off the hook! I just remember seeing what I thought HAD to have been prostitutes going up to random guys, taking $20 or $50 bills from them to lift up their shirts to get felt up, and then even lifting the bottoms of their dresses to get *whatever* they did! I remember the bouncers of that club asking people if they wanted *rolls* or whatever else there was to offer. I remember the sharp contrast with Buzz, how Buzz had that incredibly thorough search which didn't allow ANYTHING while Glow had people inside with dust masks full of Vicks, etc. Remember how they used to hand out the glowsticks upstairs? When everyone would throw them down to the lower level, popping all of the balloons that they had floating in the air between the floors? That was cool as shit!!!

Those were some amazing times, and I'm not even referring to all of the decadence. I remember DJ Bossi of Cosmic Gate, Scot Project, Johnny Vicious, Taucher, Edgar V, etc. George Acosta was even on fire back then! Zei Club seemed to almost always cater to harder trance than what we are accustomed to hearing at the clubs now. I kind of miss it for that! It was a totally different experience than what we get now.

I think what I most enjoyed was how you could stand right behind the DJ booth (next to the laser guy) watching him mix every single track.!

yeah the dj booth being upstairs in the vip section was awesome! you were literally 2 feet behind the dj!(remember how the dj booth was just a little bit lower than the rest of the floor!) i remember watching scot project mixing just having a blast and handing out cigerettes to anybody who wanted them. them he reaches into his record bag and pulls out a record that just has a big O on it.(Overdrive)! i ran downstairs and hit the dancefloor just as he was cueing it up. great times!

Adam whatsup bro! Man I had to reply because in that LONG-ASS line at the Zei Club to see Tiesto is where you and I first met, and we were talking about all the new trance tunes and you mentioned Tranceaddict to me!!! That was like back 3, almost 4 years ago. I remember talking about Summerbreeze (tiesto's brand new album at the time) and all that mess bro, hah.

Glow @ Zei did have that "comfy and personal" type feeling didn't it? It was so small that you felt as if you knew everyone there, even the DJs lol. Now at Insomnia, more people flock to the doors of Glow not because they are coming to have a fun night, hanging out, and listening/dancing to music like at Zei, now people come just because it's "the cool thing to do"

These are the people that tend to fuck shit up for the rest of the clubbers because they really aren't "feeling it" the club vibe I mean. Anyways, you're too muscular to get messed with biatch! Take care bro, I'll be in DC soon again I hope! Let's see if we can meet up!

yep i was thinking of you when i typed that out. as far as people just going cause its the "in thing" you do need these kind of people because they add to that bottom line for the club which allows them to pay those big name djs the money they want. those "just there to be there guys" help us out to get the djs we want to see. thats how i look at it anyway.

Well I know alot of people who ,would like to go to Glow but because of these people takin up room its just let people from other states or people new to the club life . Then thy later say "Ahh I am not going to Glow, all these doushbags ". I am serious, Its no fun when you got mostly immigrants come here to just get drunk . But part of the problem is that its AT Imsonia, now when they move things will be much better and more ppl who enjoy this music will be more comfortable for people out of state or new clubbers into trance. Then they will come more and more.

why thank you sir!

as for what you were saying addicted, yeah i can understand what your saying, unfortunatly a few bad apples spoil the bunch, i can remember if a fight broke out at the old Z club it was a shock. even the people who were just there for the atmosphere were laid back.

Talking better late than never...

Hey everyone...after such a phenomenal night at Glow (and a great weekend), I came down with a nasty cold. The last week and a half has sucked! Finally I'm starting to feel like myself again! Anyhow...

After a great opening set from Dan Sampson, Tiesto took over and blew me away! I didn't recognize most of the tracks in Tiesto's set...it all sounded great to me! I was floored when Tiesto dropped Three Drives - Carrera 2! It was great hearing one of my favorite tracks early on! I loved it when Tiesto followed Skin - Faithfulness with my absolute favorite track these days...Traffic! What other tracks made my night? Jens - Loops and Things (Marco V rmx)...and then...Ron van Beuken - Timeless...brilliant! I died when Tiesto dropped Rank 1 - Breathing (Airwave 2003)...simply beautiful! Too bad Tiesto's set was only three hours! I was hoping for Tiesto to spin four hours or more, just like when I saw him in May! Oh well...maybe next time!

I must say that it was an even better experience than I expected! The crowd didn't bother me as much as when I went to see PvD. Then again, going for the VIP pass turned out to be a great idea!

Shoutouts to sammy6979, dcougar99, glittergirl, skytrancegirl, surferb, vtec junkie, Addictedto1982, and beema! Sorry if I forgot anyone...I know I met many more people that night! See you all at Glow for Armin!

Party Hat

i was looking foward to this nite for a long time, and it ended up being one of the best nites of my life. dan you tore it up in the beginning of the nite, and i love your new track. teisto was awesome as always but i must say i liked his set much better in may.he played alot of tracks i never heard before, and i know all of you are really sick of it but i still wish he would have played ATRC.

highlight of the nite: Slide vs. White Stripes - 7 Nation Army Bootleg

i stayed up front dancing for his set, i left the crowd a few times to get a drink and had no problems getting right back up front! whoever the guy was that let me back stage to meet tiesto-thank you soooo much dreams do come true. that was amazing, me and glitter talked about that forever, we never actually thought it would happen!

pete i'm so glad you played electronic malfunction! i love that track and was dying to hear that one as well!
