NO...the other ppl, I know you know your music history Sarah. Seems no one realizes that the dance music industry is a high barrier industry anyway. It's all about opinions anyway....tho from what I've read with interviews with A list deejays...they say it is tough. What they forget to tell you tho is the very high divorce rate among deejays....because a list deejays tend to give their lives to the scene. Oh and as my mother once told me...behind every goood man, there is an even better woman.

PVD is totally overrated. and to answer one of your earlier posts, if all your friends want to do is sit around listening to boring music not doing anything then yes, you definitely need some new friends. p.s. I actually like that trance is liked by a small elite group; I don't know how I would react if it was broadcast on say 95.5 or q100 on weekends...theres something about the masses listening to the same cool music I like that turns my stomach..

for those of you that don't know 95.5 and Q100 are the shitty ass stations here in Atlanta that play top 40 CRAP!

look at the stripers, models, fashion designers, etc. its mostly girls. i dont see guys complaining about this.

actually, probably the majority of fashion designers are male as well.

TheCritic: For the record, I would hope that there will some day be an equal share, 50-50, in the genders "ruling the world." As of right now it's still male-dominated. I don't really care about having a female-dominated world. I just want equality. Although your leap in reasoning between my criticism of your statement and the assumption that I want women to rule the world is quite humorous.

My point is that it's simply absurd to say that women aren't interested in doing hard work. Someone who says something like that must not be familiar with too many women. And of COURSE a statement like that is going to offend people.

I read somewhere on this site "http://www.ishkur.com/features/music/ "that electronic music was discovered by the computer generation, which was and is mainly dominated by the min population, therefore electronic music is as well.(I've simplified it a bit, but you kinda get the essence of it )

jessica i dont think in this life we live any kind of people can be equal. maybe in some other world, but not here.
there are many factors, and i wouldnt start saying everything thats wrong with the way different people think, but i dont ever believe to say that people who are Jewish people who are Cristian and people who believe in Islam will be equal.
also black, white etc. always racial problems.
i dont think women will ever be equal to men too.
i am not saying i dont want them to be. it doesnt matter what i want and think, it just wont happen. you will see in years to come.
actually i watched one show on BBC about the difference between males and females and believe me there is difference, not just sexual. in thinking as well. i forgot the name of this show, but if i remember i will tell you to watch it and once you seen it you will see how hard will be the two genders to be equal.
i have to admit tought, there are many women that are smarter then many men and thats always nice, but its not always a plus.

guys look for a hobby
i.e. sports, hands on craft(wood work etc..), music, cars, computers, etc...

girls spend all money on beauty products and clothes(at least a majority of their money) and have no time or means to look for a hobby. not that im complaining, i like girls spending money and time on their looks, dont we all?

thats why i think. cause girls got the edge with dj'ing. its been argued quite often that some female djs are overrated cause they are so damn good to look at while spinning...

i heard half the female djs are actually lesbians.
