Well even though there's already 18 songs I think we should leave it open for another couple days. The 18 songs came from only 6 different people and w/ 24 people signed up now, we should give the others an opportunity to upload.

I think that Ground_0's idea on voting for ur top 3 is a good idea. We better make a rule that you can't vote for your own songs though. Hopefully this will all work out, we'll get our own sub-section then we can rate the songs there. For now this sounds like a good idea unless anyone else has another voting system that might work.

Those of you who are having trouble uploading...just upload ur songs to a new myplay acct and e-mail me the details. I'll move the files for you.

Flowtation---i got ur myplay details but they don't work...please make sure you can login and then e-mail me the details again.

I'm going to talk to the team here at work that supports Quickbase and see if I can get more info on the 404 errors. I'll let you know as soon as I the info.

Im up for it ! I've also got all the songs, just tell me what do to and so on ... although this peeps have to kinda hurry with the uploads. I still see 18 Up there, and you say theres 21 Registers, while only 6 peeps have upped .. hmm.. well, Id be checking on tonite , laterz!

I did nothing different, well i was Downloading 4 tracks at the time this occasion lol but i just uploaded at a time when i guessed no one else was uploading

will do a couple more tracks tomorrow

Ok there's 26 tracks up now. This is a lot to review so I'm going to stop the uploads tonite. So those who still want to contribute need to upload now or e-mail ur myplay info so I can up them.

I'll start a new thread in the morning so we can start posting our top 3 tracks and talley up the votes. For The First Track of the Week

Yes, we a sufficient number of songs up. Everyone should take the next couple of days to listen and post their top 3 songs (excluding their own?).

Don't worry AndiH ur not to late...I added your screen name. You still have time to upload a song or two to myplay and I'll move them for you. Just e-mail me the login info. I'll make you the owner of the record so you can go back in and change the details of the file after they're uploaded.

By the way I can have have members who are only allowed to download.
Maybe I can limit the number of uploader's to 25, but have 40 total members or something...just a thought

Yeap, also, would they HAVE to do reviews so they can download ? or you guys are okay on letting them to just Download ?

Well if they're not contributing by uploading then they should at least contribute their thoughts. I think as this goes on it will be obvious who is really interested in participating in this, and who isn't. If we don't see someone participating at all...we can decide if we should take him off the list or not.

Good point. I would say that we need to have at least half of the members (uploaders and downloaders) give reviews in order for a track of the week.

ALl members should try to do reviews to make it fair.

There is many good songs up this week.....

Yeap, couldnt be more fair...
So, I belive Rules must be posted in order to participate such as
1- Dont vote for your songs
2- Post your top 3 favorite songs and review those 3 ( or all ?!?! )
3- Must be active and do his best
4- Those Downloading MUST at least give a review to the songs.
etc ... etc .... etc ..... ?!?

Ok Good idea on posting definate rules

These seem to make the most sense so far.

1. Vote for 3 songs and review at least those 3. You can review more if you would like, but do at least the 3.

2. Do not vote for your own songs.

3. One upload per person, per week.

Any others???

Again I'm shutting down uploads tonite.
I'll start a new thread for reviews only tommorrow.

Please make sure you check the site one more time in the morning before you start reviewing. Maybe someone will upload the winner tonite

I just got a idea to do a poll for the top 3 songs. List all the songs and do "Track #3 of the Week" to track number one. IT would take three polls. Just an idea.

The 25 uploaders and one song per week sounds fine.

I'm not sure that poll is gonna work because it uses radio buttons..meaning voters can choose only one song. Also, is there restrictions in place to make sure people aren't voting like 10 times? Anyways, i'm sure we will figure out some way to do this voting right.
