he does have his nice nights as a DJ. but i thought Reflections, PVD as the producer, it was a slap in the face to all trance listeners. PVD was great on his last album, ground breaking tracks. but Reflections was just too simple and some people might cover it by saying its too "sophisticated for trance n00bs", it was shit. accept it.
Paul! you are not a god!

Why did i enjoy Out There and Back then? It had a lot of styles from breaks to trance to vocals. It was absolultey stunning and revolutionary. Reflections is NOT. it's a bunch of tones swishing and swashing in an unorganized fashion that does not do anything for electronic dance music. Just compare it to the Ferry Corsten album which is a lot more professional and diverse.
ah whatever, people at stanford aren't as smart as they claim to be.
Listen I think if PVD wanted to use vinyl one night in one of his shows he would, I think FS is easier why not if I had the money and I was as big as he is traveling all over the world playing diff venues every weekend I wouldnt want to carry all my records everywhere i go, so what he does is simply artistic, as for his mixing PVD can put us all under the table any day when it comes to mixing FLAWLESS most of the time, When it comes to mixing vinyl and FS hes a pro and one of the best there is. as for Reflections if you dont undestand the man then dont bash him for his album he tryed new genres of music and thats what grabs our attention, Like trancinchink posted Reflections wasnt meant to be all trance. If u listen to PVDs interview he deosnt consider himself just a trance DJ..he is and Electronic music DJ which means all sorts of diff styles of Electronic music, I thought the album was great, Different but thats what I loved bout it something new to my ears, Yes im sure if he wanted to make an album of just trance he could but why would he? Out There and Back was trance and a huge success I love that album, so why do the same thing again. Thats why he made something new for us to listen to I personally think it was a genuis idea changes it up and trys different genres of music.
