$1.90 per record sold isnt that bad a deal.

i think royalties for tracks played in clubs
would destroy the scene completely, so im glad

Shops get something like $5, $4 go 2 the label, and I can't remember the rest (I can probably find the real break down somewhere).

Radio stations have royalties, As do events like transmission (~7k ppl events in Syd)

Looking forward to tommorrow night. My Brother and a mate are playing funky house through to progressive from 9 till 12 so that should a good start to the proceedings.

Should be a good night. Great line up, new venue, better equipment.

Yes it is. I cant remember which one he is, Burke or wills. i think he is wills. All i know is that they are really good funky house djs and always seem get the crowd going.

They can set up that room at the start muli and you can knock them down at the end
