I got Aquarium and Aquarius and I like them both! Ouch!
To this day, I still haven't figured out the mystery behind the different riffs on "Roses Are Red" in the Euro/Asian and American versions I think. Still speculatory on my part but I swear everything else was the same in the tracks apart from the main riffs. Anyone know about this?
I only have the european version. I bought it in Norway on vacation. Haven't heard the US version. Are you talking vinyl or cd?
Thanks Nite-Mer for your response. Yes, CD I believe. I don't know if the vinyl mixes are extended or changed in other ways or what, I've not listened to those.
I heard the Euro/Asian one on radio from over there, I believe, but when I watched the music video on American MTV, I explicitly recall the riff being different.
They played it on MTV here? That's awesome. Bummed I never caught any of that. It's funny, cause the music is so cheesy, but makes me feel so happy when I listen to it. I still have Aquarium in my cd wallet for my car. Fun to bump it all loud and goof off.
About 7 years ago I bought the Sash album!!! Seems thats how most people here got into the scene!
I used to enjoy Dune
I used to think that the Frankie Knuckles remix to "Lucky Love" by Ace of Base was the greatest thing on Earth. And I even bought the Greatest Hits album for it (even though I already had both of their two albums).
That is funny. I inherited that record from my old roommate. Amazing how people's tastes change and how much the music on the whole has evolved since that record.
Confession:
I've been coming to this site for months before I signed up. Was hesitant because I thought it was full of geeks.

Im a radiohead whore. I think that radiohead is better, and that they are more talented than any trance producer or dj.
Also, Paul oakenfolds essential mix at home, london is probably still my favorite set to this day. It was the first set i ever listened to, and everytime i listen to it again i still enjoy it.

For it's tempo and hardness, Hardcore Vibes rocks! I like Love is an Ocean too, but too much of that style kills my mood. I had the pleasure of closing a party after Omar Santana. Awesome guy, I mean, really nice, but his music was giving me a headache. I appreciated his abilities nonetheless.

I have hardcore vibes on a collaboration cd. I don't think it is mixed. Same with Love is an ocean. If only I played cd's I could use them. I am gonna have to start spinning cd's at some point, I guess.
