Is this really a LIVE broadcast??? Just curious because Cream at Amnesia in Ibiza is on Thursday nights, not Saturday nights...

Yes, I'm pretty sure this is live.

Radio 1 Ibiza weekends are a yearly thing.

Cream @ Amnesia is with PVD & Tiesto on thursday. This is Oakies residency at Cream. I think?? This is live though. He did fuck up that first mix.

Just looked around and I guess Oakie also had a set today @ Dance Valley. So have to give it up for him to do 2 events on one day in 2 countries.

now I still enjoy listening to oakey - not because of his mixing, but because of his track selection - i still think he's the best dj out there for championing unknown tracks and artists and still has the best ear for the next big track. Sure if i wanna hear spot on mixing then i'd look elsewhere but in terms of sheer excitment created in wondering what direction his set will take - he still does it for me!

The only one I have doubts over which is live is Oakenfold. The other DJs definitely are (and have been, in the case of Fanciulli and Seb), so it wouldn't make much sense for this not to be, I guess.

Actually I just looked it up, and tonight is the yearly Cream Weekend Saturday night at Amnesia...sorry for the confusion.

Oakie for maybe another 1/2 hour or hour than Fergie to finish. Halliwell maybe but Ferige gets the highest ratings on Radio One.

Halliwell will finish, I promise you. He did last year, and it only makes sense - he usually goes a lot harder than Fergie.

(Also Halliwell has no show on R1, so couldn't compete with Fergie on ratings anyway...)
