after 1998, first months of 1999 when i started listening **willfully**, since i heard it from other people before hand. i was a real big hippy before i got into the EDM scene... phish, grateful dead, widepsread panic, moe... i still like them better than EDM in a heartbeat! thats *real* music

well, the first time I heard it was back in 1999 when my brother used to listen to it alot. I remeber I couldnt stand it for the longest time cuz I had a huge rock/grundge/metal bias which I got over eventually. I became really interested when I got a copy of Tiesto - Live @ Innercity and Tiesto - Live @ Energy 2000 from my brother. So around 2002 I guess.

my voyage with trance started after 98...dont remember exactly when but if i recall correctly it was around 99...nevermind... before that i did lsiten to some electronic music like jean michelle jarre, enigma, and some other stuff... but got into trance when i first went to a club (Twilo)... a friend literally dragged me because i wasn't a big fan of what i called techno parties back then, but now i'm so grateful to him right now... and a track that got me into trance was agnelli and nelson - everyday (still love that track) and it has been trance music since than...

i always liked techno music ... 3 songs that i will always remember ... when i was younger like 10 years ago .... robertmiles - children .... later zombie nation - kernkraft 400 ... mauro picotto - komodo (still love that song) after that i got more in trance music but i like to listen to almost any genre of music .... but trance is my favorite what i dont like is that good trance songs are rare these days

well ... it had to have all started i guess when i fell in love with the chemical brothers, that was the first trance album i got i guess ...
but i didn't know it was trance, i was young ... anyways then my bro left came to aus and i was uninfluenced for a bit, when we came to aus a couple years later he was into the whole dance scene and i was like hmmm ... it sounds pritty cool but i was still in love with oasis, anywho it all changed when i has a listen to "Children" this tune did it for me ... i started to get into electronic music and now i've hoarded a fair bit of shit ...
Including a fair few PvD albums, BT albums, All of hybrids stuff (as far as i know) and now i've got a fiar bit of breaks too .. things are awesome ... never been happier ..

P.S.
Has anyone listened to Chicane live at the Palladium ?

Spacey sounds have always held my attention

EDM listening since '84 and still dancing and prancing!!.......... WOOT WOOT!!!

November 2003-present: FULL BLOWN TRANCE ADDICT
