Wow, so many intense opinions in one thread!

My two cents: If people don't want to take drugs, fine. If people do want to take them, fine. It's a matter of personal conscience. There are equally valid reasons to not take them as there are to take them so just get on with it and quit preaching.

I've been on both sides of the fence and to be honest they're both fun.

Likewise, if you want to sit in your armchair listening to Armin, that's fine if you want to, but it doesn't compare to being there in the slightest.

You want cops to deal with the harder drugs?...fine i can agree with that...but like i said before - no one starts off shooting $300 worth of black tar heroin nor do they start off with 10 8-balls a day. Statistically speaking most hardcore drug users started small with soft drugs and then progressivly moved up the ladder to the harder ones.

The depth of stupidity that this post has is beyond my realm of comprehension, probably more than half the people including myself have been to more concerts than you could imagine. Popping piils is the reason our genre faces the stiff stigmas we do today. Another thing didnt you claim you went to see Paul Van Dyk? My question is if you went to see PvD, why do you need drugs? I mean to be honest it appears you just looking for an excuse to pop pills, why not just ditch PvD forget the music go in to closet and pop pills and hum to yourself and stop using the music as an excuse to get fucked up. If you truly like the music why would u want to hamper the experience with drugs.

What does that have to do with anything? People take addictive drugs like caffiene, nicotine, ridalin, codiene, etc all the time. What makes these any different from any of the other exotic (just illegal) drugs out there acting as stepping stones? Everyone has a choice whether they decide to take the stuff or not. You do know that soft drugs like cannabis have medicinal uses?

Dont categorise and make people having a good time suffer because a couple of shitheads dont know when to stop.

People just take a look at the names of trance albums and songs and you will see the influence of drugs.

eg. hallucinogen. astral projection infected mushroom...the list goes on and on. in fact im sure that most of the worlds best djs will tell you of their inspiration from drugs like lsd and mdma!!!
