Sounds good to me
And the track does too, although I prefer the original Genie more.

Man.. I'm listening to this track everyday... I mean the 32 kbit quality.. :P

This is so good..

Good Job, Jezper!

Also an idea, post the whole track in 32, but with a sample of 2 mins in 160 kb min.

so this way we can hear the mix allive and how it sounds and we can hear the structure as well..

can be an idea for everyone.

Posted by Creamfields23 on Sep-23-2004 15:40:

Good tune, it has that something catchy in it.

/ A bit off topic but I find this: "Making a 2 min really hifi sample just makes you people concentrate on the mastering and production, the two least important things of music in general" very interesting.

First: I'm no producer or anything, but I also think that the record labels don't listen to promo's the way as stated as above. It's just like you like it or don't.

Second: Neither will most of the ppl in the clubs or parties.

And p.s. don't take it wrong it's just the way i see it and i don't know nothing about producing.

The point of the low bitrate is to make the track low quality! Why would he post an OGG file?

Posted by Jay M on Sep-24-2004 11:16:

Ok this is more like it Jezper. Cause I can hear just what quality track you've made. This one has great energy, Bass is really uplifting. Starting with some cool fx (ringmod or so??) on the percs. The 1:22 Synth (drawing attention there) is a great one. Love it.

I like your website as well.

Good luck with this one
-Jay

I can't believe people are so paranoid about samples being on the net....believe me, labels dont care if there are 128k full tracks with the ending/beginning faded or a 192k sample flying about.. IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL.... some of the biggest tracks of this/last year were all over the net before they were signed...its rediculous and a 32kbps mp3 is taking the piss, how can you expect to get feedback on that pile of shite quality.

You know absolutely nothing about this business, do you?

I was just about to ask the same thing

george: if youre speaking out of your own experience then I suggest you switch label faster than the lightning
