Trance
The whole progressive / 'regular' trance thing...like Armin, Markus, Tiesto, PvD, and what not.

forms of music i would ban if i ruled the world....
Circus Metal...... dont ask, its just horrible
gangsta rap
rnb/hiphop... just plain awful
candy pop like spears, timberlake etc etc
you cant just ban pop because it encompases everything popular by defenition.
gabber and hardstyle would inevitably be banned, but not until i had taken out the above.
i would keep jungle/drum n bass, but i would outlaw being a junglist... since they are tools by defenition.
house and prog can stay tho, since in the words of beavis and butthead, "you need things that suck to keep the cool stuff cool"
hardhouse
anything over 140 BPM, i cant get into.
i honestly don't know.. i think i can get into every genre of EDM. although some genres usually bore me after a few tracks. like hardstyle, hardhouse..

as many ppl mentioned - HARDSTYLE SUCKSSSS!!!!
i also don't like the 'rave' genres such as
jungle
dnb
gabber(or any shit like that)
breaks
goa
like a previous post, almost anything above 140bpm is annoying.
on the bright side though, i like:
trance, techno, house, ambient/chillout, and many subgenres of each
Techno along the lines of DJ Rush or Robert Natus
- hardstyle / hardcore: anything that fast... well... bleh
- that uber hard tool techno: techno for me should stay slightly under 140BPM, maybe over, but not too much. and just because it's techno doesn't mean it should be stupid hard, or monotonous and uninteresting, or can't be beautiful.
- vocal uplifting trance: i like this, but VERY rarely. what i dislike is normally the vocals are more prominent than the production, which pisses me off. i thank god for good dub mixes. although i don't listen to much trance anymore.

Hardcore/Hardstyle/Gabba/whatever it's called: Basically all forms of "hard dance", i just can't get into it. The only way i could possibly like it was if i took drugs, which i don't.
Techno - haven't really heard much, but i listened to a set and i just couldn't get into it. I suppose i'm just used to those, big, super-uplifting, euphoric, driving, supersaw melodies
