Everyone's prognostications go haywire sometimes such as Schilling getting rocked. That's what makes it so interesting. The breakdown by position is interesting, I like that, but that's better for the newspapers because baseball is not just a collection of individuals. Look at the past teams such as 1988 with the Dodgers beating the vaunted A's. Compare by positions/pitching and the A's should have stomped the Dodgers. One thing I know, it's nice to have Jeter, Rivera and Joe Torre on your side. Those are 3 that go beyond analysis. |

GAME 2 tonite!!!! cant wait!!!
i'm tempted to try for tix again right now for tonight, but it's just a lil pricey hehe
when I got the tix yesterday, I called up the ticket broker who listed a few tickets on ebay. Since it was 4 hours before the game, he offered me a discount on the tickets...so I snagged two tix for the upper deck at $80 each and went with a coworker. Face value went for $71 a tix :-).
whats everyones predictions tonight?
i say yanks win 5 to 3

He does play fav's too much sometimes...once you have his trust it's really hard to lose it and vice-versa. Yes, ManRam and Damon are better. I haven't been a big Bernie backer this year but I guess I might be the stupid one for writing him off too soon. Tim McCarver annoys everybody, both Red Sox and Yankee fans. Sometimes I want to dump ice water on his head too. Prediction for tonight? As Mr. T said in Rocky 3... "PAIN." That's for the Red Sox as the Yanks go up 2-0 in a close one 4-3. |
*random thought*
FOX should pluck away Harold Reynolds from ESPN to do the play by play for the playoffs and world series. The whole Joe Buck and Tim McCarver drivel just ruins half the experience for me.

Harold Reynolds is an idiot.
And, call me crazy, but I'd have to call Bobby Cox the best manager in baseball right now.

in fact, maybe the whole postseason should be broadcast on CBS, maybe at least we would get to see some tit.
boy they really look good in those jackets...maybe i should congratulate FOX for making them look like idiots too.
1 run given up in a slow start, but Pedro is looking better than Schilling did
