if you read some of the long threads in the Music Discussion forum, you will see that many TAs disagree with Ishkur's guide. he even mentions at the beginning of the guide that they are his opinions and it should be taken lightly. i don't agree with half the shit he says in there, but i don't take it so seriously. it's supposed to be humorous.

from Ishkur's site...

If you hate the guide, then you obviously didn't take it with a pound of salt like you were supposed to. Go take your anal-retentive sense of humour elsewhere.

If you don't have any interest in it at all, then go away. I obviously didn't make it for you. Must everything on the internet conform to your stupid, meandering, fastidious interests?

Want to talk to me about it? Sure. But I can't guarantee you that I'll reply. Maybe if you say something stupid.

so on that note, if anyone should be in here subtly criticizing you, it should be Ishkur himself... because you obviously can't see the humor in it.

I was at the PVD show in April, the AVB show in May, the Tiesto show in June, and the AVB show in October. Out of all of those, the Tiesto show easily came in last.

AVB is by no means the greatest dj to ever walk the face of the planet, and his style has become somewhat of a bore compared to what it was a couple years ago, but the fact remains that his sets were better than the one Tiesto showed up for. That's about all that happend too; he showed up. I wouldn't call what I paid $80(my girlfriend wanted to go since June 27th is our aniversary) to see a worth while use of my already limited funds. Not to mention the fact that we live in Indy so we had to pay for gas and a hotel room too.

AVB did a lot more than just show up. He interacted well with the crowd both times. He actually mixed the tracks together instead of trainwrecking both times. His track selection, no matter how boring it may have been for some people, was better the second time around. Overall, AVB moped the floor with Tiesto's ass back in October.
