Dont get all pissy cause both major party candidates are fucktards, I feel that both of them only will bring us Downhill more. I dont want to associate myself with either of them. Fuck that.

As much of a goddamn idiot that Bush is and as much as I can't stand Kerry, both of them have more leadership skills in their pinky than Nader does in his whole body. Have you actually done your research on him, or are you just voting for him as a cop-out, because you think you are being cool by voting for a third party candidate?
If we are going to have any realistic choices for third party candidates in the future, we can't keep having self-serving jackass technocrats like Nader who would completely flop were they ever elected because they have no leadership or public relations skills and no foreign policy experience.

I almost hate to talk about my fellow soldiers and this election. It's sad but a lot of them didn't even request an absentee ballot. However, that doesn't stop them from engaging in political discussion in which they make themselves look like fools. A lot of guys actually still like Bush but they can't tell you why. There are a lot of guys here that joined the military for the wrong reasons and they are just clueless to life in general. It's a shame. Respect to anyone who votes and who goes out of their way to educate themselves about the people who do or will run our country. It's a great country and I'm proud to serve it. Peace.

The reason Democrats wanted Nader to leave the Presidential race is that the votes that go to Nader get taken away from Kerry. That's because Democrats and Nader are both to the political left, so theoretically some of the people who vote for Nader, were he not there, would have voted for Kerry, because he is still to the left, or liberal side. And in a tight election like this, every vote counts, and 1% or 0.5% transferred to Kerry will help him win some states.

Nader isn't even on the ballot in some states, because he failed to win enough support in those states' caucauses to be placed.

Actually I know for fact Nader will never win. Thats the point. I'm effectivly throwing my vote away. Im not doing this to be 'cool', I dont do shit so people will like me, fuck the people. Bush is an ass, Kerry Tries to hard so everyone would like him, like throwing/catching a football when he clearly shouldn't.

"Look American Youth! I can relate to you!"

Fuck the people is right, because by being such an ignorant shit, you are effectivley fucking yourself and all your peers over. Since you hate Bush and Kerry so much, I guess it wont bother you at all when one of the two is in office come 2005.

They also don't care that Bin Laden's relatives (along with other Saudi's including Prince Bandar "Bush") were flown out of the States just days after 9/11 - when all private planes in US airspace were banned from flying.

Bush was the one who signed the rave act into law.
After Congress passed it, Bush signed it.

Please don't vote for Bush.

rave act or not

BUSH ALL THE WAY BABY!!

I WAS BORN A REPUBLICAN

Evil1

Saying you were born republican is not a good reason to vote. We are old enough to think for ourselves, not just base your vote on the party we were "born" into. (and last time I checked political views weren't heredtary anyway) My family's voting for Bush, but I did my own research and have come to my own conclusions. But I guess on the other hand at least you're voting-that's more than I can say for many people our age.

I'm for Kerry

One week till the election, guys...

Posted by CityKitty on Oct-27-2004 20:06:

Exclamation

ok, this is my final plea to all the eligible but lazy people out there in la la land who have not decided they will vote-there is less than a week left-I urge you all to vote for something-tuition costs, healthcare, the marriage amendment, taxes, homeland securty, god the list is endless. We are effected by these things everyday, and we btich and moan about it from sun up to sun down. Well, here's your chance to say something significant-if you don't like Kerry, do something about it. Don't like Bush, do something about it. (but don't vote for nader, sad to say it's a waste)

Some ppl in this thread have said we're screwed either way we vote, I say you're screwed if you don't contribute.
