Methinks it's hypocritical for their party to rant about Bush and the draft when it's their own party bringing up such bills." |

| Skull and Bones Wins 2004 Election. Tyranny Wins. Alex Jones Infowars.com November 3, 2004 The Republicans now have a record majority in the House and the Senate, seven of the nine members of the Supreme Court were appointed by Republicans, a large majority of our States Governors are Republicans, and George Bush is now a lame duck who is not facing re-election. What does this mean? It means that, to all the smirking neo-con masses who are celebrating Bushs win, Bush now has no excuse but to repeal unconstitutional gun laws, to stop calling for amnesty , to control our borders, to pull out of UNESCO, and to stop the Free Trade Area of the Americas that is the Pan-American Union. Dont hold your breath. Weve seen an explosion in the size of the government and a record loss of American freedom. I predict its only going to accelerate. Tens of millions of beady-eyed, dumbed-down, neo-con, neo-communist Republicans will hail it all because they associate their personal power with George Bush and dont give a damn about their children or this country. The Republicans now have strong control over all three branches of the Federal Government and the States, but instead of seeing a new age of conservatism, we're going to see a new age of the Police State. Government will get bigger and bigger and the Patriot Act 2 and the National ID will be rammed through Congress. |

| Originally posted by XaNaX Name a country that the US has ever invaded for its natural resources. If that were the case we would be stealing Iraqi crude as fast as we could pump it. Instead we invade the country, spend billions doing it in order to remove a violent dictator and hopefully add a little more stability to the middle east. Like it or not, every country we have invaded since 1900 has been to defend it from some foreign agressor or some communist revolution, not to steal resources. And it has almost always been at the request of the rest of the world. And I have to disagree with you on us not being able to take China or Russia. The US would not beat them in a matter of days like Iraq but we have the most powerful, most advanced military there is. Neither Russia or China would want to test that. And again, our massive nuclear stockpile would prevent China or Russia from going there. |
One post only.
Ha ha to all the haters, Bush wins! I guess the whole country has gone insane.

My two cents - since Kerry supports Scientific Research and is willing to create more government grants for that area, and both of my parents are immunologists, I support him. However I believe the country can benefit from both candidates. I mean these guys graduated Yale and whatnot - you can't just sneak through Yale, even if you are an x-presidents son. So I believe each one of them is an intelligent human being with lots of good ideas, though Bush does struggle with wording them properly, but that's fine - there are many of us that can't word shit properly, just check out some threads. |

Jesus how stupid can the American's be.
I'm a bit miffed really. This made me feel a bit better though:
George Bush and Dick Cheney are enjoying a celebration lunch at a fancy Washington restaurant. Their waitress approaches their table to take their order; she is young and very attractive.
She asks Cheney what he wants, and he replies, "I'll have the heart-healthy salad.
"Very good, sir," she replies, and turning to Bush she asks, "And what do you want, Mr. President?"
Bush answers, "How about a quickie?"
Taken a back, the waitress slaps him and says, "I'm shocked and disappointed in you. I thought you were committed to high principles and morality. I'm sorry I voted for you." With that, the waitress departed in a huff.
Cheney leans over to Bush, and says, Mr. President, I believe that's pronounced quiche

| Originally posted by d0uble h3lix LOL its scary to know that pseudo nationalism has actually made you believe the "ideals" your government claims to uphold. name a country? i can name two: iraq and kuwait. now Xanax, keep in mind this: The United States of America is NOT a truly democratic nation. had enough time for that to sink in yet? no? k ill wait a bit more... . . . ...ready? good. Now, if you've been invading other nations for their own good and to protect their rights and freedoms, why is that almost every country you've had an occupation of or have waged war in has some resonating or deep hatred for the states? your nation has a terrible record for during and post-war occupation, usually causing more damage during, and leaving a shitstorm behind you. keep in mind that much of the wars youve had have been a result of your own actions. Sadam and Osama were once your allies, but you fucked with them, they hit back at what you held dear, and you went to wage war in their countries with almost a total lack of respect for the civilian populace. simply put, your troops in the past and present tend to terrorize the civilian population of foreign occupied nations. Have you noticed that almost infinitely lesser heat has been directed towards the Brits and their "softly, softly" approach? they have taken the time and measures to ensure their military actions target only the enemy, with much less civilian casualties. Also, the cities which they occupy have not been excessively dangerous, as the respect and protection they show for the populace is returned with respect and gratification, not with terror and hatred. About your statement with regards to Russia and China...w..t..f? your government and its civilians seem to be drunk with stupidity with concerns to your percieved power. Your nuclear stockpile means shit. While Russia presently has a smaller arsenal, much of it you can't track with confidence, as they're mobile ICBM launchers (including subs). China is in the same boat (pun intended), but they're more into aerial-based nuclear strikes, and due to the size and effectiveness of their airforce, a aerial-directed nuclear strike poses a serious threat to you. Yes, you are right, you have the most technologically advanced military in the world overall, but many beat your level of technology in single areas, and this is where your superiority ends. Under next to no circumstances could your country expect to win an air or land war against Russia or China (we won't even consider the possibility of them allying to remove a common foe) not only in sheer numbers are you heavily outnumbered by both, but your military hasn't fought a professional armed force since world war 2. Both the Russians and the Chinese training on par with your military and are used to going it alone, they do not fight as part of a coalition...another thing your military has become accustomed to. shit, i meant to keep this short, but your statements pissed me off to a certain degree, so i had to write this..newayz im done with this. |

I voted Bush and I stand behind my vote. I don't judge anyone for voting for Kerry and don't feel I should be judged for my vote. I am getting really sick of people and their judgements. Apparently I'm not the only one who voted for Bush. I feel bad for those of you the hate him and feel screwed by him winning, but them's the breaks. Move forward and live your life the best you can given your circumstances. The man does have power, but that power is limited. I don't think he ruined everything and made everyone's lives so horrible. And if you really hate him and his policies so much, leave the country. Otherwise move on and stfu (that's not steered at those of you discussing things rationally, it's for the extremist's generalizing and being, IMO, assholes). |

My dad's business sales are climbing back up. I can go to the school i want and train for what i want to do. I can awlk around town knowing i am safe, except from other drivers on the road. I can live my life as i always have. Taxes may be different, gas and oik asre still relatively cheap. And Apple stock has done nothing but go up since october and it is up 2.5 points today even with the news of the election. Also note that when the other day that it was expected that kerry would winthe election, the stock market showed severe implications and dropped 100 points in a very short time. |
All we can truly do is sit back and see if Bush can fix his follies.

My only real complaint about Bush is that he won't just admit that he makes mistakes. I don't think Iraq was a mistake, but I think he should be honest about his motives. If he had said he went in to get a dictator, we put in power, out of power, I think that people would have been more satisfied with the move.
The economy is only partly effected by the President and it usually takes time for those policies to make an impact. These next four years will show how effective his policies are or are not. Greenspan has a lot more impact on the economy than Bush does. We shall see what happens in the near future. The other factor on the economy that could not be accounted for was 9/11. It takes a while to restore order after an event of such impact.
