hey FLTA's,
does anyone have anymore suggestions as far as hotels that might compare to this one in regards to its location and price. it'll be my first ultra fest and I wouldn't even know where to begin the search. thanx for the help.

Alright it looks like its gonna be Joey, myself, and my friends Mike and Charley. This is going to be out of control.

Oh! can everyone who has a reservation here please PM me with your confirmation number, dates you are staying, and name the reservation is in? Im gonna be calling them soon to see if we can arrange to all stay on the same floor....

so i just called to try and arrange that we all be on the same floor, and the woman said that since the reservations were made thru hotwire, that she cant add any requests to the reservations (balcony requests, double/king bed requests, floor requests) NOTHING until the time of check in... so....i dunno... maybe all the ppl checking in on the 23rd check in at the same time (what a hassle) or mebbie joey and brian could ask for everyone since they are coming a day early.... im really sorry guys... i tried

This is a blessing in disguise.
When the hotel staff comes to tell us to quiet down we can dissapear to another floor. TEEHEHEHE. We'll be sneaky.

At this point I think that i'll just post all the info, so people don't screw it up. That way we can mess with the people we don't like.

dont think we booked a place yet. we did stay there last year and had no problems except it would be nicer to stay with a bunch of people that will be up partying. i just tried hotwire and it was being gay and timing out. i got to head to work now but if you or greg could pm me the info, that would be great. thanks.

OK, here is the deal:

1) Go to www.hotwire.com
2) On the hotels tab, enter Miami, and your dates. Click Find a Hotel
3) On the map page, select ONLY downtown Miami. Click Find hotel Deals
4) A page with hotels and prices comes up. Find the one labeled customer favorite. In the amenities list it has: Food, pool, golf and tennis at 3 � stars. That is the Sheraton Biscane Bay. It should be around $82 a night (maybe more now).

If you have any trouble finding it be careful since this website does not tell you the name of your hotel until after you buy it and they do not give refunds.

This deal is the SHIT !!! So buy me and Cyn a drink when you see us rocking the terrace @ 8AM.

the Sheraton is nice..
it literally has the bay within spitting distance from the rooms..


i found out that taxi ride about $5 each way to the park & back

&
if ur driving parking will be $18 a night in there garage

just in case this can be helpful


i just cancelled my original reservation & booked the new ones


its on for the WMC 2005!!!!

this is what weve been trying ot tell everybody... we walked ot ultra from this palce last year.. and the poolside bar right besdie the bay is pretty nice too... this place rules... and is gonna be taken over by TAs.....

hotwire books rooms as "double occupancy" which means that when you show up you may have a king bed or 2 double beds. we have booked there several times thru hotwire and ended up with both... just ask at check in. if you do for some reason end up with a room with a king bed, there is a really big half chair thingy that makes a nice bed, and some rooms also have pull out couches (those are the balcony rooms... there are only 8 per floor) itll work out tho... no worries!

hmm iono bout the 84 per nite...its up to $179 per nite, even $210 now on most online sites for double occupancy

not it's not, you must book at LEAST Thurs.-Sat.

if you do it properly it should still be 85 a night... i just looked at thrus-sunday night and it still says its that much...

**edit** i know hotwire can vary by parts of the country... ken in atlanta just booked for 116 per night from thursday-sunday... i guess the deal is running out... well for all you that missed out 116 still isnt really bad... and you snooze you loose

it seems this deal still works for those in florida, but perhaps not out of state???
