Maybe part of why I didn't really like the PvD set (aside from the legions of Miami teenagers with no dancing ability whatsoever) was the very homogenous Marc-van-Lindenish sound of everything that wasn't techy (Connected and Time of Our Lives were the only exceptions, but I've heard them a bajillion times already...)

Yeh MvL came around recently with a really fresh sound, but its amazing how quickly a fresh sound can become stale as fuck oh well.

I think PvD can be excused for pulling out the tool & nby, by his reckonings it was a 21 and under crowd and technically it was the first time that crowd would have heard those tracks unless they have been sneaking into clubs while underage but of course no one does that

i forgot to say that the 2 highlights of the pvd set for me was when he played "time of our lives" fu to the people that dont like it. and one of my favorites, "josh gabriel - alive" those are classics right there.
