Are you crazy? Dairy Queen is one of God's greatest gifts to man. Crispy Crunch & Reese's Pieces Blizzard = sex.

Again, you have some very wierd tastes. IMO, Filet o' Fish is the best tasting McDonald's sandwich. The problem with it is, after eating it, I feel sicker than I would after eating any other sandwich. Therefore, I usually get the McChicken.

Coming from someone who put in 7 months at McDonalds, I recommend....
-McGrill Chicken with the works except don't ask for extra mayo; the boys in the back usually 'kill it'.

-Depending on what time of day and that status of the ice cream machine, Strawberry shortcake McFlurry.

Personally, anything else would be uncivilized... literally.

Well, as for the Filet fish, I have the backing of the majority of TAs here as being the terrible sandwich. I can eat and like it more than several other McSandwiches, but its not very good. I work pretty much every friday night and on my headset I always here a lot of people whining about filet and saying how much they dont like it. As for Dairy Queen, yes I know they are good, a lot of people tell me that, but last summer I tried their ice cream for the first time when it was really hot and I was really dying for ice cream and Dairy Queen happened to be nearby. I bought the Blizzard and sundae right away (kinda expensive sundaes IMO). I barely had 3 spoons of the sundae and threw it out - the ice cream was thinner and not as tasty as any other ice cream in my opinion (like the north american milk vs european milk situation for me), Blizzard was OK, but I cou;dn't eat it all and I wasnt satisfied with my purchase, even though it cooled me off temporarily.

Our McDonald's location has been a winner of city-wide (Hamilton) competition for the cleanest and best procedure following store for the last 3 years in a row. Additionally, just a month ago our store won out of a 100 McDonalds restaurants for the same category!

In other words, we serve the best and FRESHest FOOD at our store better than other outlets in the city! Quality!

LOL ... yeah, it sure does. I am proud of my job, and I want to clarify some TAs' views on this fast food chain. Unfortunately, many people have seen too many awful and shocking movies and documentaries depicting the complete and exclusive evilness of big corporations, as depicted by Michael Moore for example. I am not getting into details here, as I know the score and understand the big picture. However, in my situation I have already been dealt a rough hand and I have to play the game or else I lose. Watching Michael Moore is not going to make my situation any better, but probably worse.

McDonalds is not perfect, they have their issues, its obvious, and I am not going to get into details about what I think. I am proud, I like my job and I get really irritated when I read silly things by people who havent been on the front lines like me, closer to the truth and with a better understanding of the situation.

Thats all. Any other McDonald's questions are welcome.

I hate to disagree with you (only cuz I don't feel like getting flamed) but I believe your wrong on this one.

As you get older...your hgh levels decrease (From the age of 20 to 70, your Human growth hormone levels in your body fall by more than 75%) and once that happens...it affects your ability to loose weight easily...so essentially you become what you eat...regardless of how much you exercise. The alternative is if you consume a lot of amino acids which may raise some of your hgh levels. Even if you do the weight-resistance exercises, it just isn't enuf to increase your hgh. So you see...you are mistaken in your opinion.

Here...read some Hgh Info

well the way you talk is that everyone is resistant to their food, just because your body allows it. its not true.

i agree with mcds isnt perfect, but there is point he was trying to prove from that documentary, that it does have bad effects to the body any fast food that matter.

Bottom line is trying to prove that junk food isnt good for the health

Gotta add that my job is certainly not the best in the world, and I dont even work full time, and the pay is not much ...

The worst thing is that since I started working at McD, I have been losing weight ... I used to weight 148 pounds, and now I am afraid to check myself ... I think I am about 130 pounds now. I dont know why it is like that.

I still eat some healthy food outside of work too, and I hoped to gain a dozen or so pounds, but the strangest thing has happened.

Anyone has any idea WTF is going on with me? BTW, I do have fast metabolism, but I've actually been gaining weight up until I joined the Mac team.

Well, I'm no doctor but it sounds like your eating a lot of high glycemic foods and that's affecting your insulin levels and may be causing a sugar intollerance...which can eventually lead to diabetis.

Have you found that you've been drinking a lot of fluids?

Posted by fiya on Feb-08-2005 21:52:

diabetic?

No, I am not diabetic nor sugar intollerant, but I might be consuming too many sugars as of late, stress is a factor. I will take your post as an advice and will immediately and slowly cut down on food containing high amounts of sugar. I love candy at the moment, eat a lot of it, but as of late I also developed strong craving for healthy food, which I like.
