I'm in...
...need to get my blood pressure down....so, along with cutting sodium and caffeine
... will most likely be dropping some lbs too.
Wouldn't mind getting back to around 200 pounds...though playing as a 6'4" 225lb left winger on the hockey team has it's bennies. My heart just doesn't take it anymore...getting old is lame.
Started back on my exercise program this morning at 630am.
Only had half an hour but Monday morning is the most important training session of the week in my opinion, as it kind of sets the tone for the rest of the week.
5 Minutes Cross Trainer on flat out (heart rate 150bpm)
4 sets Lat Pull downs (1 x 15 reps, 1 x 12 reps, 1 x 10 reps, 1 x 6 reps)
3 sets Cable Rows (1 x 15 reps, 1 x 12 reps, 1 x 10 reps)
3 sets incline bench Crunches (20 reps a piece)
Going to do a little more after work...

Hey Orbax,
My program is structured around 8 sessions per week, or 2 per day allowing for a couple of sessions off.
Minimum of 40 mins cardio per day at 150bpm and 3 exercises per muscle group.
My body reacts well to extreme amounts of exercise because it can change quickly. The reverse is also true as I can put on weight quickly unfortunately.
The main focus of my training will be my tummy.
I'll train my stomach in 3 different sections on different days.
1. Upper Abs (Swiss ball crunches, medicine ball situps, incline bench crunches).
2. Lower Abs (Those things where you hold yourself up on the chin-up bar and lift your straight legs up and then also to the side, reverse crunches).
3. Obliques, side of the abs (I do this exercise where I line up the swiss ball next to the wall and do a sideways situp, broom handle twists, and medicine ball side twists).
I really want defined 'V' section.
Tomorrow is the start of this, I'm looking forward to putting my body through sheer agony over the next 4 months with those who are participating. Now get ready!
i'm going old school hardcore on you bitches because i'm going to win this stupid thing and then be the sexay...working out two times a day...six days a week...perfect diet... 4 months...you're all fucked my friends...just submit now muHAHAHAHA!!!
^ lol, hell yeah man. I myself intend to make the training and drug usage that Ivan Drago underwent in Rocky IV look like a deleted scene fom Marry Poppins. I won't be happy until small children cry at the very sight of my grotesquely muscular and awkward body!!
Watch out for Jason, this man is an animal.

His hand must've told you that, right?

yeh i need to get my ass in shape
if this were a marathon, i'd be one of the guys who's not expecting to finish near the front, but just wants to do it to be awesome
oh yeah!

goddamn, the tendons in my elbows hurt from doin pushups n curls, is that normal
if this is your first time working out in a while, then yes absolutely. Take 800MGs of Ibuprofen every 4 hours and get lots of rest, after they heal, you won't experience that level of pain again.

pushups might not be best thing to start off with @@ they dont bulk you up hehe

lol well i know that
i just have never actually done weight training before
so i could just go into my room and do bicept curls for an hour every night but i have the feeling that wouldn't help that much
ask that question in WO thread ill give you a routine. Gimme height weight, access to equipment, and diet
what do you guys think of creatine? one of my friends recommended it to me a while ago...
not needed. You gotta be at a pretty high level of fitness and working out knowledge to effectively utilize it. Adds a lot of water weight right of the bat which makes you look bigger but if you stop you drop weight off. You gotta have intensity before you use that stuff. most beginners dont.
there is a really expensive thing called...gahh what it is...nitrox...no...nitro something. it uses blood instead of water...its 2x as expensive but ive heard good things. but until you work out for a while...dont use em. get your basics down first.
What do I get if I win?
