-- Possibly the best trance tune ever.

Lost Tribe - Angel
Li Kwan - Point Zero (all 12 mins!!!!)
Paul van Dyk - For An Angel (as the curtain goes up)

If the tracks have to be 4/4
Max Graham feat. Jessica Jacobs - I Know You're Gone
George Hales - Autumn (Alucard vs Markus Schulz Remix)
Sasha - Cloud Cuckoo (Luke Chable Remix) (love the ambience)
these tracks will be fine I think
I would have to pick Chicane - Lost you somewhere. Beautiful and the title works too.
Lightforce - Join Me

maybe not the best trance tune ever, but i can see it happening at a funeral.
My condolences to you (threadstarter), its quite a sad subject, i would go for:
Brian Eno - An Ending (Leama & Moor rmx)
Airwave - Alone in the dark
Grace - Not Over Yet (Matt Darey rmx)
probably one of the 1st trance tunes i heard:
Paragliders - Paraglide (Blue Sky Mix)
The Thin Red Line: Melanesian Choirs
"Jisas Yu Holem Hand Blong Mi"

this song is so awesome...
my friend wants to play johnny and santos "sleepwalker" while his coffin is carried out, creepy.
i would also like saltwater or offshore by chicane
Probably something by Ulrich Schnauss a.t.m. But I'm pretty traditional really, I don't know that I'd request trance or the like.
Easy, Accadia - Into The Dawn (Accadia Ambient Mix)
Maybe Benz & MD - Still Rain
that is, I'd consider getting these played in my funeral.
nighclub - french kiss
hahaha, but seriously- i think maybe... chicane - autumn tactics? i donno
pardon me, but why the fuck would anyone want Trance played at their funeral? i wouldn't really think it would be altogether opportune.
I dont know if your going to listen to my suggestion but I think everybody would agree that the very last song to be played would be
Radiohead - No Surprises.
a song deffo at my funeral...
john secada - just another day
The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony
Green Day - Good Riddence
Jose Amnesia - The Eternal (Sunrise Mix)
the reason that people want to play trance at there funeral is because they want people to remember the wonderful times with them and the things that such a person loved. A funeral is not the celebration of death but the celebration of a persons life. So it would only make sense to play something that celebrated there life.
I want a slightly slowed down version of the breakdown in
'Rusch & Murray - Epic'. Just listen to it.
Sorry to hear bout your brother, best wishes.
