Noel Sanger had an awesome set. He played some good tunes and mixed well. Its just that 3am is not the best time to put him in.

Btw tiesto showed up at our party in calgary just before 4am. He played until 6. Ending with urban train.. It twas the best party ive ever been to! All the tunes were in the right place, but i really wished he were there eariler

Too bad it wasnt a 3 hour set like planned.

Posted by apri_peel on Dec-17-2001 02:41:

If anyone happens to be reading this still, I'll be at Virgin in an hour or so, and I'll have my Urban Train record to get autographed. Can't miss me.

Sean

Posted by patticus on Dec-17-2001 04:56:

hm well i didnt make it to virgin but i doubt sean will be the only one getting urban train autographed

Posted by hypronix on Dec-17-2001 07:02:

I know it's kinda lame, but since I had no way in being there at Tiesto, I thought of gettin' some reviews, pictures.. whatever. even pat's and sean's autographed vinyls!

becasue it is out of the question whether it is good or not!

Posted by j_spot on Dec-17-2001 07:13:

here..check my pics from Tiesto in Calgary last night

http://communities.msn.com/ThaJSpot...agiktiesto.msnw

for some gay assed reason, the thumbnails wont load, but click on the pic anyways, and it is there.

Oh..and MSN resizes the pics with some weird ratio..so some of the pics look HORRIBLE once they get uploaded

Posted by D:fuse on Dec-17-2001 09:29:

I just got home and I tons of pics
but you have to give me a day to transfer them over. This camera's drivers wont work with my computer. So keep checking.

cheers.

PS. shylock_one and sothis get a hold of me on icq and I'll send you your pics. 6371678

WOW!!!

what an amazing set!

i wish i had ran into more of you... i met sothis & company, who were very cool (nice tats sothis! ). i got there around 10, right before tiesto started, and looked around for people for the first 20 mins or so. i was feeling shitty still from the night before, so i chilled on the balcony until 11.

i couldn't take it anymore, the party was too good to stay up there. so i had to get down to the dancefloor, stayed around the middle of the dancefloor until the lights came on

damn, the whole place was jumpin! i got my hat signed too

cant wait for pics, the visuals were pretty wicked.

ps. jesten: D'OH!!! thats tragic dude

Posted by Special_K on Dec-17-2001 21:36:

Ya I ended up not going. As usual when somthing I want to go to is going on Shit comes up that I have to deal with. ARRRRRG

Posted by Koss on Dec-17-2001 21:41:

Thumbs up

I brought my urban train & flight 643 records too; I was the first person in line to get them autographed (at virgin). At the end of the show at the commodore, tiesto gave me one of his slipmates =p

The show absolutly rocked! ...what a great way to start of the holiday!

Posted by Sean Walsh on Dec-17-2001 22:26:

Another track he played around the middle of his set:
Flash - The Day After

This was just uploaded in the singles section today.

nice, nice...

heheh, how did you get to meet tiesto?

Posted by shylock_one on Dec-18-2001 03:19:

In a word: Amazing!!!

I loved it! The visuals were great, and the set was awesome!
What was that one song that everyone went really crazy for, all I remember was it had a wikked breakbeat interlude.
D:fuse, it's nice to meet you, thanks for taking my pic with Tiesto at Virgin.
Sothis, it was totally fun to meet you and your friends! I love the tattoos!
Apri_peel, I think we met briefly but you probably don't remember =)

My only complaint was that I was getting too tired to dance in the last half hour. All I wanted to do was stand still in the middle of the dance floor and enjoy the beats while everyone danced around me!

Posted by Sean Walsh on Dec-18-2001 07:14:

shylock: Push - Strange World (2000 remake). Fuck I love hearing this song loud, it just doesn't get played out =) The energy for Push, Revelation, Cloudwalking, and Urban Train was just NUTS. Push especially though, I think because more people recognized it than his other tracks or something, the energy was just crazy.

What a night =)

hmmmm, really? were you the guy with your shirt unbuttoned who danced in front of my friends and me? i wore a red golf shirt with white stripes if that helps
i tried looking for ppl when there were more lights on but it was kinda hard to see cause everyone kept on moving and moving and moving! hehe altho, i clearly remember one reeeaaaallllly tall guy with a hat and a shirt that said 'giant' he passed by us and since im kinda short i came down to below his shoulders but all in all it was great!
my best friend goes to university of manchester, england, and she said that was the best vancouver party she's ever been to even beats summer love!

hmmmm......maybe that wasn't you......I remember a girl in red with two or three tall guy friends, I was over with Sothis at the time, was that you?
hey Stan, who did you introduce us too?!

I was wearing a tan baseball cap, with a brown and green turtle neck type shirt with a zipper.

Push - Strange World huh? Thanks a lot!
Yeah that was definately awesome!

man, i gotta spell check

Posted by Mark on Dec-18-2001 08:13:

btw forgot to mention that because of tiesto and that party, i successfully converted one of my friends, who was cool enough to actually try this with an oepn mind and was also a hip/hop junkie, into a trancEaddict.
