DJ Scot Project made a track which mimics this old one, i think its Asian Sunrise, but i am not sure.

Its on the A1 double vynl. Also an awesome summer track.

in the summer im a breakbeat person though, so im stretching myself here

Yeah that tune is amazing! I don't see it as summery sunshine tune but a late night in a club tune, like when Oakenfold would play at Twilo. He used that in his Global Underground: New York CD and it was quite amazing hearing that for the first time. But a really summery sunshine version is "Alamanana (Geert Huinik Remix)".
