Commercials? Quaint idea. I actually think making a television channel that plays strict edm would be a nice addition. The only problem with that is that most edm videos are for cheesy songs. But with channels like Fuse and MTV, people are more interested in actually watching their music (if that makes any sense whatsoever).

I mean what arrogance you have to feel that YOU should be in a club and they should not...

For the record i am not and never was a clubkid...

But i can say first hand that clubkids made the NYC scene the BEST it ever was (circa 1995)....If it wasnt for clubkids NYC would of sucked in NYC...they made Limelight, Tunnel, Twilo and Shelter.....so ya know.

so if you weren't a clubkid either...then as you put it, "your kind" of the people that were the problem as well...so i really don't see your point...

AND thats why i posted pics from Europe clubs/festivals with candy kids...showing its not just America...so if they are doing fine with those ckids why isnt America?...maybe its not them and it is the people who bitch about them.

How much clearer do I have to put this for you? Here is my attempt.

I is not makey fun of clubby kiddos. I is makey fun of the dumb ones. I is not saying they should not be at clubbey if they paid pricey. I is saying they needs to get educated and stop being idiots.

i understand everything your saying...and as i said before...i personally couldn't fucking care less if clubkids are around. but where it becomes a problem is when you want to have a super club...you're going to need more then candyravers.

i think in the US...the majority of that crowd are underaged and so they won't even be apart of the clubs that we are talking about because they can't buy alcohol, which is probably one of a night clubs biggest sources of money.

all i want to here you say is that candyravers DON'T give EDM any type of social stigma....and you know you can't...so you're avoiding it.

It's dead because the mainstream US culture cannot accept anything that is not US created or dominated as being either worthwhile or valid. Until all the top DJs are American and American media endorses EDM then the scene will remain underground.

I'm not sure why you're complaining so much... underground is good, it make a much closer more cohessive scene.

candyravers suck. don't they understand how absolutely ridiculous they look? damn kids.

ok i will try...

my point is that, this chick who made this post came in here with her nose in the air acting like she was the shit and her and her little Maybelline friends should have VIP access with back door entrance bcause they are "classy"(whatever:rolleyes....and candy kids should be banned because they are to begining of the end of the scene...

My point is that back in the day clubkids (real clubkids) made the scene in NYC the best it ever was...so i respect the oldschool ones....

I feel everyone and anyone has a right to go to the club,,,,assuming you dont start fights or anything dumb like that.....what gives anyone a right to say they can party and then say the person next to them can not? Pretension.

Because it sucks when there's no shows to go to.

I love the way you generalize. You should write a book.

I fail to see how I'm the retard when I'm the one who is having to explain this to you for the umpteenth time. I am saying American kandii girls are generally stupid. They only know Tisto, and they only like what he plays. I am by no means saying they don't deserve to party, I am merely stating that they need to gain a broader scope of the scene. Thus, get educated and stop being idiots. I do realize that club kids started the American scene (what there is of it). I do respect them for this.

How, oh how, can I make this any clearer. I am giving up explaining this to you after this point.

True... I forget how spoiled we are in Toronto... Since December I've seen Armin, Tiesto, Christopher Lawrence, Steve Lawler, Benny B, and next week I'll be out for the Crystal Method followed a week later by Ferry.

You should move to TDot.

The way the candy raver's look is part of the reason people don't give the scene a chance.... they are scared off.
