How was the dance competition, Peter? I wanted to go but was too tired to make it out.

I wish I could have seen some of the different dance styles on display, but my recent combination of night owl and early riser has left me in disarray.

the dance competition was OK, didnt see a whole lot of talent but its not like i entered the competition so imma shut up. But I do like the idea though and they should have it more often. Overall it was a lot of fun watching the new dance moves.

I wonder what happened to all the dancers who used to tear it up at the Edge back in the day. There was some serious talent there, but I haven't seen anything like it (in DC) since they closed that place down.

Anyway, I'm kind of glad I didn't miss too much. Thanks for the info!

I don't think I've ever seen you dance, BTW. What's the deal with that?

That's where I fall into trouble.

I've destroyed at least a dozen pairs of shoes during the course of the last few years. And as far as sneakers go, Diesel's are awesome - but they come apart waaaay too easily.

I also can't even begin to count how many stain sticks I've used to remove the black marks on various pants legs after a hard night's dancing.

I even had a pair of Diesel jeans that were like seven shades lighter than when I got them - after washing them repeatedly, trying to get the marks out. I wound up selling them on eBay for close to their original retail price anyway, though.

you mustn't have been around for long then, since it doesn't take much to figure that out.

Hello!

.

Posted by Trancer-X on Apr-18-2005 01:53:

I feel bad for you lonely folk, having to need someone else in order to make yourselves feel complete.

I guess now I should say that I'm glad that I got my heart broken in high school - because since then I've come to realize that if you aren't happy alone then you still probably won't be happy with someone else.

I guess what I'm meaning to say is that if you can't find happiness / fulfillment within yourself, then you probably won't find it at all.

Arrrrrrrrrrhhh

Posted by Greedy on Apr-18-2005 02:23:

that is a good point.

I dont think any of us need anyone, but I do feel that everyone needs some kind of healthy companionship whether it be intimate or just friendship.

Very true. However, I have plenty of friends - and not having a GF allows me to have the time (as well as the strong mental stability) to be able to concentrate on attaining certain goals that I've set for myself, however lofty they may be.

I've had numerous GF's in the past, but also have yet to meet anyone that I would honestly be happy sharing the rest of my life with.

I'm too freakin' picky! But perhaps that's not such a bad thing after all
