Well I'm fairly new here, and didn't see any of the drama at us7, but I just wanted to say I hope you figure out some way to solve your problems.

As my grandfather said to me when I was 16 and got alcohol poisoning:

"It looks so nice when it's sitting there in the bottle, but alcohol does some strage things to you when it gets inside you"

that's very simplistic view, although i don't deny the good intentions of you and other people who've tried to help him with their sincere advice, but this( his drinking habits) is a chronic case and people who know him, are aware of it.it's a fact.
he's publicly vowed to make a change and only time will show if he's "capable" of doing it or not. needs a lot of guts and determination imo.

Sid, I haven't met you yet (hope I do) but I also wanted to say your words are perfect...I almost wonder what your input might have been on the "Attn: Rodrico" post (speaking of which, Rodrico, you absolutely have seen someone else being proud of how stupid they are!!! LOL )

On the words of Ix2L, although most of ?his? input seems to be off-the-cuff remarks (btw I had no involvement in any of this plus I don't know LKD except for a few fun exchanges of words in a thread--so I hope you all don't think I'm trying to muddle here--I simply feel a personal connection to the issue and this causes me to say something, just like Ix2L)...I wanted to point out that this guy recognizes the value of our family...and how forgiving we are...that was a good point and despite the rest of the stuff, which everyone handled appropriately can I just remind us of that one line: "many people aren't like that, they are nice. Alike the crowd of TOTA, they still accept you and so mad respects out to the crowd." This guy probably didn't expect his words to be received this way and was opening his heart (or demons--whatever you wanna call it). Maybe I'm just new and naive...

Xavier, it took guts to speak up about such a personal and hurtful experience. I have younger sisters too and I know how it feels. I really respect you, as a brother, to be able to get past that and say the positive things you did.

All in all, for a n00b like me it feels great to be associated with this community...I had such a great time at US7 and to be honest, perhaps a greater time talking about that experience and just having general discussions with you all. This is a great family, and I hope to strengthen my bond with you all.

LKD after seeing your pic I remember seeing you at US7 and I remember I wanted to get to know you better. Please do come out...I'm just a lowly n00b, but I don't mind hanging with you at all!!! Maybe you didn't expect this thread to just take off like it has, but definitely DO NOT shut yourself out, no matter what people say...come out, limit your budget/drink less/whatever, but just keep hanging out with us...there is such strength of character here that it seems this is the best company one could have to get through rough times...

All that I have said in this thread has been nothing but a sincere apology from the bottom of my heart to the people that i love.

Each of you who I have offended have every right to be angry at me, adn even give me back a taste of my own stupidity adn i will accept it.

But the extra crap that is going on in this thread takes away any seriousness i come forth in and therefore i think its time it gets closed.
