Drogba, cole, crespo upfront doesnt exactly justify whatever millions have been spent.
Why did r u comparing them to real madrid for they have nothing to prove they win trophies on a regular basis chelsea have won hardly anything and have everything to prove they need to be winning cups year in year out before people start showing them any respect and considering them as one of the best teams in the world

i compared to real madrid because for all their money and superstars they failed to win anything last season. it is nesscerrary to have the right players not the most expensive ones. i still cant believe u r using the word poor to describe chelseas attack. crespo is world class, he will score on a regulr basis this season. drogba, i admit was a little expensive but gives us a different element and diversity. Cole is a growing talent. Even wen are strikers are not at their most potent it doenst matter because are wing attacks are fatal on the counter attack, and we have such a powerful midfield. Fuck, even Tezza scored about 9 goals last season.

like his first year in the premiership?

and real madrid were winning until they decided to let go of del bosque. if jose ever goes, that'll be the end.

i think people will start respecting chelsea more when they can prove to be consistent trophy winners.

3-0 bitches ... champions league football pretty much guaranteed this season .... rooneys getting better with every game as is cristiano .... oh and the glazers prolly saw their first ever competitive manchester united game ...so a good day from all sides barring the 1000 odd c*nts who still havent stopped their protests ... bring on the premiership

Predictions for the opener?
United 2 - Everton 0
Thats how i think its going to end up...
Cicinho might be heading to OT...saw a bit of him in the confederations cup...seems like a good right back...but i dont think united is in any desperate need for his services...anyway let see how it goes...

Posted by sleepydragon on Aug-11-2005 20:34:

i think united will win the opening match everton wont be as strong this season i dont think.
I think Cicinho would be a good buy there the sort of players united should be buying they need defenders not attackers like owen hes not even good enough to get in the team.

Posted by Chang monkey on Aug-12-2005 23:17:

i believe utd will win also. 2 - 0 aswell

Posted by raveed on Aug-13-2005 16:14:

woot ... good game today .... everton played well last 20 mins of the first half but we got our act together and deserved the win .... i was very impressed with park sung ... guy pulled of some neat tricks and has endless energy .... hope the results continue this way

Posted by aal07 on Aug-13-2005 17:28:

decent performance...the 1st goal was very good....van the man looks like he is going to have another 25 plus goal season in all competitions...anyone know why ronaldo was not even included on the sheet?

Posted by Plastick on Aug-13-2005 20:45:

^^ nice prediction guys (mu 2-0).
Yay to all on MU

Posted by e_bukur on Aug-18-2005 03:45:

who are all your fav. players?

Posted by Soeder on Aug-19-2005 13:37:

i think Rooney is going to be a big hit this year! he's been playing extremly well in the training matches, and now against everton and denmark! flying start for Rooney

Posted by Matty V on Aug-29-2005 19:27:

Rooney has been a big hit ever since he scored that goal against arsenal 3 seasons ago. Euro 2004 and his first season at united has just widened his huge reputation.
I do think he'll be better this season than last to.

actually mourinho is a great and clever man. he is actually one of the only interesting managers in the premiership. mourinho is much less annoying than ferguson or wenger. and he also has some great one liners.

I am not concerned about how Chelsea are viewed morally. What does concern me is that we are treated in a different way to other clubs. Some clubs are treated as devils, some are treated as angels. I don't think we are so ugly that we should be seen as the devil and I don't think Arsene Wenger and David Dein are so beautiful that they should be viewed as angels.

I can say to him in the next 10 years we will compare trophies at Chelsea and at Liverpool. And he will lose.
[on Steven Gerrard]

If I wanted to have an easy job... I would have stayed at Porto - beautiful blue chair, the Uefa Champions League trophy, God, and after God, me.

I agree with you about the Arsenal point, but come on, your club have behaved disgracefully since Kenyon and Mourinho joined, so the way you have been treated has not been unjust.

Before the 2nd leg of the Semi final last May

"They play at home and 99.9 percent of Liverpool fans will be thinking they are in the final"

99.9 percent were right
