PHEW! What a night...

Still exhausted (Though I'm sure some folks are a bit more than I) so this is going to be a bit short, but, and I can't stress this enough:

I had an AMAZING time...

The whole vibe of the Ascot room at the Quest is unreal... it's such a class place to see a show.

As far as the evenings sets went:

Lane: Missed the first 20 minutes, but man you were spot on for everything I heard after that (Save for the one transition we talked about... no worries though man!) Definitely unexpected, and I really enjoyed... nice work man!

Daniel & Tyler: MmmmmMMmMmMMMMmmmmm... Scrumtralescent is the only way I can describe your set. I was amazed at how well the two of you played off of each other... Dan, you were techincally great, and just the look on your face seemed to say "I'm having the time of my life!" and Charlie... what can I say bro? I don't think I've heard ANYTHING from you I don't like... Getting to hear "Elsewhere" (Not "Blue Storm" ) out in a club was just unreal, I'd been waiting a long time to hear some Tyler C out in a club!

KT: Finally got to hear you play a "headlining" spot out man, and you did not disappoint at all! One of my favorite sets to hear out this year, it was really nice to finally get out and see a DJ who spins the kinds of tracks I like to play... Highlights for me included "Break Your Mind," "A little Hazy Morning," "Eighties" (I'll never get sick of hearing this out at a club), and "Without You" (Not "Without You Near"). But aside from your set, it was really nice just to get a chance to meet you, and I really appreciated you taking the time to talk a little "business" with me. Hope to see you again soon bro!

On top of that, it was really nice to get a chance to meet Pete (Petro) from ETN.fm... Definitely nice to have another guy there who was just as stoked for KT's set as I was, and I'll definitely be in touch with you soon, especially if I'm headed up to Duluth...

All around, I had a great time, it was a nice trip, but I'm totally melted right now... hope the "review" made sense...

Great to see everyone again, and I can't wait until we can pull something together like this again...

November 4th can't come soon enough...

I had such a blast last night, it was unbelievable! I was super tense and wired all day waiting for things to get started, and it took a few mixes for that to go away (if that wasn't obvious ). But once things got going I was so pumped to be playing. It was awesome to be able to play to a good size crowd, especially good size if you consider we had at least 500 online listeners consistently all night.

Speaking of which, thanks again to the ETN crew for coming down and hooking up the broadcast. It was an excellent addition to the night.

KT's set blew my mind. So many great tracks.

Rob- It was great to see you again. The 4th could not be soon enough.

teh lucid - Awesome to finally meet you!

Not at all

I've got a hilarious story about how, for one night, I was the lead singer for Matchbox 20, one of the worst bands to ever grace this planet...

i had an AMAZING time! it was my first time in Minneapolis and i was very excited to get up there and hear some great music and meet some more TAs. i really enjoyed all 3 sets... they were all different and it kept a great vibe going all the way until the end. the night went by sooo fast too! Daniel and Charley threw down a really solid set that got everyone amped up. KT's set was amazing and he played 2 tracks i was really dying to hear out at a club... Dogzilla - Without You and Matt Cerf - Bent (Kenneth Thomas remix)... what can i say, male vocals are my weakness!

i'm glad i got to meet all of you - Lane, Pete, Daniel, Charley (& Kim), and Kenneth.

see you all at the next Addiction! or on November 4th...

I've been trying to find them too, thought they might get posted on http://www.etn.fm but not yet...

And as far as mine goes, well, it doesn't exist b/c I didn't play it, which is just fine by me, b/c as I've said before and I'll say again, jacuzzi Suite @ the Doubletree gets one VERY large FTW (That's "For the win" for you non-CORe whores/forum trolls... )

I really would like copies of the other sets though guys if you can come up with 'em, because you ALL did a phenomenal job!

Again, I can't stress enough just how damn fun this night was, and just how sick all the sets were... Looking back, it's funny that it went from the super fast, hard, kind of tech trance of DJ Lane, into the melodic deliciousness of Daneil vs. Tyler, and straight down to the prog to end the night with KT... Just seems kind of backwards as far as teh tempo of the evening, but it was money no less...

and major props again go to Charlie and Dan for putting this all together!
