I'll tell you why is not bullshit with two questions.

Did you know that sampling copyright material without permission is illegal with fine and inprison penalties?

Do you know that doing it illegaly, not you only will get in trouble but me for allowing it and the owner of Trance Addict for supporting it?

Well.. I have to say that I did trye to make a remix of it yesterday, And i did only use 30 min to get a very GOOD remix
but Is it to late to sign me in for the competition?

Nope. You're even not allowed to do so, cause the judges may not know who's remix it is, just to keep it a fair battle.

Keep the remixes exclusively for yourselves!

if i can get on the real list with 3 weeks leftover to work on the remix, i'll submit.
if it's less than 3 weeks, then bad luck for me

i'm ashamed i didnt notice this thread up till now, as i've been one of the guys pressuring this remix contest to happen the most

oh and PDM, very nice job on the orginising, but don't you think you're setting the bar too high?
what will we do in future remix contests? i'm sure very few of us can get such 'sponserships' as you have.

I'm no one special, all I have done is sent e-mails asking for help and some people were kind enough to grant it.

All you have to do is talk, if you don't knock doors, they won't open to you.

I'll put you on stand-by mode and yes, you have til September 24 , to finish the remix.

oh, bummer about the limited number of entries. i feel like all 27 wont deliver a mix and the standby's dont have the motivation to make a solid track if they dont know they'll be in until after the 25th. bummer indeed, just cause i havent checked the forum in a while.

If for some reason there are 6 people dropping out, you'll be entered in the official list and notified.

thanks for adding me. always have fun but glory and airplay is nice too. no big deal, i'll get started on it and hope for a chance to enter.
