Actually, Apple's H.264 mp4 codec when encoding using QuickTime 7 Pro on a Mac basically destroys any other codec in existence, no doubt about it. Note, I am talking about Apple's variation of the H.264 codec using multipass encoding on a Mac and nothing else. Even encoding videos using the same setup but on a PC doesn't net nearly the same results as it does using a Mac.
It destroys DIVX, XVID, WMV9, Sorenson 3, and everything else. Only issue with it...it takes forever to encode stuff with it. 
The new Flash Video 8 Codec is also f'in amazing...but not really meant for downloading a viewing. Meant for embedding videos.

Great review all sound like a really good time, you have
so here goes my review: the tigo's and i get in around 9pm all excited and ready to party and dance to great music. we head to the lovelee party(see review for lee burridge) and had a fantastic time. well, most of us did, sorry tigos. the next morning i am so excited, i'm like a kid at christmas, b/c i know that i am in for a fantastic time but i had no idea just how fun it was going to be!
we get to the TA meet up and the usual suspects are there plus many more i haven't met before. as a pretty big group we head over to the spundae float and mingle while the parade waits to get underway. once the float starts moving and rocking we start walking/dancing all the way to our final destination. kinda tricky trying to walk and dance at the same time but i managed! the further along we got on the parade route the more packed the street got and it was insane, saw a few scary naked guys and tons of fun looking people. taj rocked it out all the way there, he redemed himself some from the time i saw him open for jOOf.
then the float parks and that's when it just got to be like music heaven! one after the other djs got up and just tore it up. i had so much fun dancing and dancing. i was in the crowd for a little while for KvA and A&B but b/c i was a dumbass for wearing flip flops my toes kept getting crunched and i had to hang out in the back of the float which was just as great b/c i started seeing all the djs and then i started getting their pics and autographs and it was crazy and surreal all at the same time. they were so cool about it and seemed so happy to be there just enjoying the music like everyone else, it was great to see several local LA djs there to hang out and visit with everyone. many TA's were behind the float as well so it was tons of fun. many, many props to kristina sky and tania mann for being the float coordinators and keeping everything running so cool! you ladies rock and i wish you 2 would have tag teamed and showed the boys a thing or two!
the djs didn't disappoint either, one after the other they just kept giving it to us, Above and Beyond were great and since i had never seen them i was blown away. carl cox was sick and so sorry that he only spun for that short time. bbb was good. markus was fantastic and then the man got up, ferry, i had yet to see him spin and man was i in for one of the times of my life! every track he laid i danced harder and harder! came so very close to my experience with jOOf! he was intense and even after dancing all day long when he closed out the night at the float i felt re-energized!
then came the afterparty, seemed a bit unorganized and it sucked waiting in line for an hour but once we were in i was ready to dance some more. i was there for the music and specific djs but didn't get a great vibe from the crowd overall. way too many cracked out young kids it seemed like. but oh well, i wasn't going to let it ruin my night. seems like right away we lost tigo 2. we tried calling but no luck. then tigo 1 and i went upstairs to chill during bbb set and he passes out. so i dance b/c i thought bbb was pretty good and i had fun. tried waking tigo up no less than 12 times and got no response so i tucked him in to where he was crashed and went to try and find re-inforcments. oh by the way, while standing in that god for saked line we managed to miss carl cox so that was definitely the bummer of the night! i run into kfrogger and freshcoast(i think that's right) and we go and catch part of markus' set, we get down front where of course the beautiful sweetcandygirl and neinerlove are and many other TA's and dance until we realize it's time to go see Above and Beyond. i'm glad i went and saw their whole set b/c they were great! so much fun, i saw a little bit of KvA but then had to head back over to see the man of the evening, ferry! i was so tired by the time he came on, i felt as if i had lost my groove but managed to get a little of it back when ferry dropped his first song! and the energy just radiated throughout the room! i can't wait to see him this saturday, it's going to be proper, in a club and re-energized from a week of rest.
so, i can't believe i have never been to this before but i will definitely be back! i had such a great time. the tigo's were a blast to hang with and such nice gentlemen, nothing like everyone warned me about just a reminder boys, i did out party you! i wasn't the one passing out or sleeping on the way home.
no it was great and i can't wait to do it again! sorry this is so long but wanted to let everyone know what a great time it was, as the previous reviews have stated. and before we left the tigo's drug me to this strange leather festival on folsom street, they were quite into it and enjoyed the scenery! hehehehe! no really, you thought you saw penis at the love parade, you haven't seen anything like what we saw, i saw more naked men then i will ever in my life time! oh and btw i got a picture of the guy jerking off in the crowd at the LP. if tigo1 can help me i will post it later. crazy! see you guys saturday, peace

Maybe next year they'll have a "Jerk Off Float" .. who knows??
