Gimme a break dude. I've made over a 1000 posts and most are done between my projects at work. In most cases, these are thought out and typed as fast as possible. It's not like I was butchering the entire paragraph. If there is anyone that is typically quite anal about spelling and grammar, it's me. Compared to others on this board, I especially don't get your argument.

Let me go back to all your posts and critique any possible mistakes. Nah, I'd rather not because I'm not some Tard calling out trivial crap.

Baseball thread Buckeroo Banzai... get it?

As far as the postseason being boring....it's baseball it can be boring. I only care about the redsox winning and the yankees losing, i could give 2 shits about the national league.

I don't know if the redsox can pull it off, Dom is right, our pitching sucks, I've been saying that all year, why they traded Lowe is beyond me....he was their best pitcher last year in the post season. Although he wasn't that effective during the summer, but, he was a closer in the past so that could have come in handy now that Foulke's out....Trancehater knows what he's talking about, he used to play baseball..

Do I even need to point out the mistakes in this above paragraph?

Moving on...

Not before I tell on you first..

It's my company's responsibility to keep me motivated so I don't DESIRE to browse music boards to talk about my grammar mistakes...

You're not getting the point, in a post talking about how smart yankee fans are, I pointed out your dumb mistake, a joke, you seemed to get offended instead of taking a joke....I understand you're rushed, so am I, I was kidding, I'm not picking through all your posts, and I normaly don't care how my punctuation ect. is on the boards, your mistake was related to the topic, it was funny........yes...moving on....

I guess the trend is now young GMs, started by the Red Sox. The new Rangers GM is 28. And I think the new Devil Rays GM will be young as well.

you mean started by the yankees...they hired cashman in 98 when he was 29...

I'm so offended I called you Buckeroo Banzai...

Red Sux are done by the way.. just thought I'd mention.

I'm 29 so where does that leave me in the next G.M. position? Anyone? I did win the Fantasy Baseball Championship! No, not enough?

Posted by Wheel of Steel on Oct-06-2005 21:13:

the "smart ass" comment showed otherwise..I wouldn't be so sure, the Redsox are the comeback kings, they do well when they are behind. Maybe the yankees will choke 2 years in a row, now that would be worth watching!

Smart Ass? ok... People call me that everyday, I guess I should be uptight about that.

Nope, Red Sux are done. This isn't last year...there's no Pedro, Lowe, Foulke, to bail you out.

The Red Sux winning or losing has no relevance on the Yankees series.

Well, in the baseball pool you are the one who picked them to make the World Series. As a die-hard Braves fan, I didnt even pick them to make it out of the Division Series!

To those who dont understand what I am talking about here, see the official baseball thread in sports discussion

Braves leading 5-1 right now, BABY!

Posted by Shamez214 on Oct-07-2005 01:42:

Yup. I still think they're going to win the WS this year. I was more hoping the Padres would win and not really thinking they would. Ha!

Posted by Mebot on Oct-07-2005 02:00:

San Diego winning against the cards would make for a far more exciting NLCS

Posted by Wheel of Steel on Oct-07-2005 19:15:

The sox winning or losing has relevance to the yankees...b/c they could play them, and I just love to watch the yankees lose.

I know the White Sox would be a challenge but the Yanks have to beat the Angels first.

My uncle-in-law is featured (not in a great light) in the book "Moneyball." His name is Grady Fuson and he drafted Jeremy Bonderman, which pissed off Billy Beane enough to kick him out. He was the Director of Scouting back then. He is now an assistant to the General Manager in San Diego. When I was reading Moneyball it was weird to see him in the book. I've only met the guy a couple of times though.

Another reason I'd root for San Diego but I'm afraid they're getting swept.

That definately would be a great series, whitesox v. spankees, the Whitesox have been playing very well, much better than the Red Sox that's for sure.

Posted by Member of X on Oct-07-2005 20:52:

Oh yeah, game 5 if necessary would feature Jose Contreras, who has won his last 9 starts (not decisions but starts). Including dominating game 1. The Red Sux got Matt Clement (muahahahaha) or Arroyo (muahahahaha). Jose's ERA in those last 9 starts was 2.14. The Yankees could have used that guy!

But I don't think it will get that far anyway....
