| Originally posted by TheVrk To Emery and St.Andrew: Guys, honestly, you can ALWAYS find tix. The BIGGEST games are REALLY tuff, i agree. But group phase matches its basically a gimme. A TON of my friends went to Portugal last summer, and got tix to 6 (SIX!) different games. I was at France98, and i scored tix to the semis between France and Croatia - granted it was at the Stade de France which holds 80 000, but it WAS the semis. My best friend was also there and scored tix to 4 different games that year as well.... BOTTOM LINE: As long as ur willing to pay and ur not too picky with where u sit, u WILL get tix. 100% BELIEVE me |

The second sales period for 2006 FIFA World Cup match tickets begins on 2 May 2005 at 12 o'clock midday CEST (Central European Summer Time). Tickets will be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis in this sales period, i.e. applications will be processed in the order they are received. Subject to availability, TST (Team Specific Ticket) series may be ordered by applicants wishing to follow a specific team as they progress through the tournament. Due to high levels of demand in the first sales period, individual tickets and TST series will not be available at the start of the new period for the following nations: Germany, Argentina, Brazil, England, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the USA. |

40,000 tickets re-allocated 24 August 2005 by OC 2006 FIFA World Cup A total of 40,665 single tickets covering all 64 matches at the 2006 FIFA World Cup were re-allocated in a ballot conducted on Tuesday night. The tickets are returns from the first sales phase resulting from non-payment or failure to comply with the sales regulations. The OC had been expecting a higher number of returns. "But a significant number of applications did end up paying after receiving a written reminder. The new draw only included applicants who received no tickets at all in the first two sales phases. We're delighted that a few more people will now receive tickets for the World Cup," commented OC senior vice-president Horst R. Schmidt. In a repeat of the procedure used for the first sales phase, the new ballot took place at OC premises in Frankfurt and was supervised by a lottery official from the state of Hesse. The ballot software has been certified as guaranteeing an equal chance of success to all applicants. The latest winners will be notified by 26 August 2005 and asked to confirm receipt of the notification in writing within 14 days. 812,000 FIFA World Cup match tickets were made available for sale in the first two sales phases, including 147,000 TST or team-specific series. TST returns will be offered for sale through www.FIFAworldcup.com at a later date. A further 300,000 tickets go on sale in the third sales phase beginning in December 2005. As in the first phase, applicants are under no time pressure as the order in which applications are received has no bearing on the likelihood of getting tickets. The OC is assuming demand will again outstrip supply, and will allocate tickets by ballot on a match-by-match basis. |

"revenge, revenge" wtf it was just a soccer game. Fatmir Alispahi (reporter for some newspaper from bosnia) is comparing yesterdays game with regime of hitler and musollini, fucking loser, suck it up and let it go, its just soccer. i hate when they make it political like this |

Trinidad is in! More crappy teams yay!! Well i guess better than bahrain anyway.
And could someone please tell me why didn't Uruguay play Diego Forlan????? The only excuse I would accept from them is if he was suspended for the match. Even so, dress him up as Alvaro Recoba
Swiss advance on away goals!!!!
Sahand guess what, the Turks are out!!!!!!!!!!!
Bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Now I have 2 teams to cheer on.
CROATIA + AUSTRALIA.
Half the Aussie team is made up of Croats so I'm happy
