in my books, there is a difference between 'sound' and 'noise'.
there definitely wont be any 'noise' coming from this venue.

Posted by smd79 on Nov-19-2005 02:52:

yea i guess the more appropriate definition would be...

2. Main Entry: din
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): dinned; dinning
Date: before 12th century; Sanskrit dhvanati, a lions roars
intransitive senses : to make a loud noise
transitive senses
1 : to assail with loud continued noise
2 : to impress by insistent repetition -- often used with into

noise to one person may be music to anothers ears. i guess a lot of people who dont like it considier it "noise" yet to us/me edm carries the sweetest sounds.

Resonance was good. I like Haus too, but yeah, there's the KH comparison.

Din would be good if people actually got it...but if your mind doesn't immediately jump to the definition of the word "din", it ends up sounding like random letters.

But I'm on the 270 Spadina bandwagon. I don't care, I like it. It's kind of like lot332 though.

Posted by infinity HiGH on Nov-22-2005 21:39:

I think "Cinema", or simply "270" would be the best choices.

Hell, I'm so used to calling it 270 already...just keep it at that.
