Jerry Bonham is in his mid-late 40s.
Junior Vasquez, a NYC House LEGEND must be 60 by now and he is still going strong.
I am 32. DJed a bit in HS, and picked it up again after college.

I've had people stare at me and be very rude, ask what I'm doing there, pissed that anyone so old is in their club and can't believe anyone that old can have any appreciation of the music. The irony is that many of the younger people are not at the party for the music, but I am. Anyway I have fun and am always surprised how the music can get people moving. I just DJ house parties at friends' (age 20+) and have done a couple of clubs. But hope to do more in the future. |

age
Well, I am 17 and have been playing for half a year.
I am starting to get the hang of it, beatmatching, eq and so forth.
I've been with a dj that has played for 5 years, and he has really learned me a lot. So know I am able to play on my own and it sounds quite good.
