Aiight! - Official Proposal for "Group ID Round" (aka Sad Losers get a chance to contribute tracks)

Silence will be interpreted as a no vote (though feel free to post an official no).
7 Yes votes and I think we should proceed.

Round as per previous suggestion:
Each person submits 5 tracks for List. No votes received for iding your own tracks.

Consider this post as the first Yes vote.

Why not? Let Chrissi have some time to do the next real one while us losers entertain ourselves.

To keep the tracks homogenous there should be some rules on duration (15 secs), format (mp3, ) and quality (56 kbps)...

When would the contest start? Who would run the contest? (Someone who wouldn't be able to win anyway... Subey )

I have a question...

I made my samples for the next contest. So they are each 15 seconds (or as close as I could get to 15 seconds) and of course, mp3 format but I can't figure out how to lower the quality to 56 kbps. I dl'ed cdex and used it to convert all of the samples but it didn't ask me what to convert them to and now when I look at the samples they are the same size (192 - 320 kbps) that they were before I converted them.

you gotta go into settings in CDex and change the bitrate there

go to the main page of TA babe .

there is a program in the software section that will let you lower the quality

(there are two programs...it's the second one)

Okay, after you posted, I found where I could change the bitrate. I chose the 64. Then I did a select all. And told it to convert. When it finished, they were all still the same size. Which was too big.

lol, Jason, I'm embarrassed to tell you I didn't know what the main page of TA is until after Tony encoded the samples for me.

*chuckles*

Anyway, the contest is up.

Have fun!
