ps
was anyone watching that show on sbs about the north korean team in 1966? i thought it was really good
f*ck man australia's got no game
yeah, totally outclassed in every area. they need to be more patient with the ball too imo. their challenges look pretty scrappy. theyre lucky to be only 1 down. some nice attacking moments, but they just dont quite possess the finesse that the dutch do.
ITS ONLY A FRIENDLY REMEMBER.

yah, but even in a friendly you dont wanna play poo
and to me, it looks like australia are trying a lot harder than the dutch. ie kicking van nistelrooy in the face
i wouldve carded the fvcker.
the dutch are light years ahead of Australia...afterall they are the inventors of creating space.
don't give Viduka penalties!!
that was a bit lucky
would of been interesting if we had 11. I loved the great ruthless deadly tackles, just make sure...theres no booking!
Theres still alot of work to do, overall a decent result anyway.
Just remembered one of Hiddink's assistants is Johan Neeskens, whos brain is almost on par with Cruyffs. After the world cup, he should be a canidate for Australia's next gaffa or should be appointed a technical director position.
all credit to australia not conceding again, but really, some of those challenges were well un-called for given its a friendly before the biggest tournament in the world. id be well pissed if thatd been england.
good to see swarzer is in awesome form though!
Damn, why do we always miss allot of chances
It wasn't as much that the Dutch were off target, it was simply awesome reflex saves from Schwarzer. Even that last free kick from van Persie which hit the upright Schwarzer had covered I reckon.
There is absolutley no hope for Kalac IMO after this effort from Schwarzer.
Agreed. Mark Schwarzer FTW!
Am I the only one that thought Australia looked tired right from the start? For the whole game, it seemed like the Dutch were quicker than us and won more of the 50-50 balls. I think they were showing a little bit of fatigue and that might have worked against them. Hopefully Hiddink will have them freshened up in time for the game against Japan
