I dont think the trance crowd is any messier than other genres. Maybe when we get to the recoveries! I was pretty disgusted in what I saw at Sunshine People, people there were very scary But they were there for hellraiser.

Jubas you make some really good points mate I have a few ideas on how to improve a few of the things you mentioned so we'll see how well they go next week.

The drugs definately have a negative effect on crowd numbers. I don't have a prob with people using drugs, but in my experience, when people get to a time where they have had enough of doing drugs every week, instead of soing out and havin a beer, they stay at home. Why? Because they argue that without the drugs, it's no good.
What a piss weak thing to say! I got into the music not the drugs.

As for drink prices... $6 for a stubby (or more) what a rip!. Might as well get a carton and stay at home. Don't have to catch a cab, drink drive, whatever, and it only cost $40 for the night. A couple of mates, what more do you need for a good time. the women.....

Getting chicks to a night will always bring in the blokes, but girlies love House. i think the reason for that is coz house nights are dress code, and what chick doesn't like to blow cash on clothes n shit. So that point made was spot-on.
Having said that tho i prefer jeans and trainers myself, and fukin hate going to a door with some wanker bouncer lookin me up and down to see if i qualify. That shit has put me off many a good night, and put lots of clubs in my bad/not goin again books!

a question for y'all- is the trance scene more littered with drug use than any other edm scene? from my limited experience its pretty much equal between the genres...

trance is euphoric and uplifting there are lots of buildups and arms in the air moments and because of this people automatically assume that it is a scene populated with drugs. it is utter crap but that is the way it is viewed.

yes but if u ask a noob what trance is they arent going to associate it with buildups ect, they automatically think hard trance noise.

^^ true, but as if the other genre fans are into it less. i mean, nobody could enjoy house without being fvcked off their head. and even then its a monumental struggle

love the typo soups. hehe. opiate.
