i saw the vids that Francis took during Tiesto when he was VIP at Global Gathering last summer in Birmingham...OMG that was CRAAAZY!!! and to think that festival is like TWO days of madness...trance, prog, house, everything!

Global Gathering Miami this year has S&D, Ferry, Jimmy Van M and others...

but yeah dani, u've gone to IBIZA so im sure NOTHING beats that experience.

Ferry is Free too, But I feel no need at all to see him.

lol i agree with most of ur statements. but i love FERRY so its perfectly fine for me to go.

And ULTRA at WMC last year WAS AWESOME...even if it wasnt as good as the past year. I just love experiencing different scenes and people.

of course it would, but the experience is SOO worth the money IMO. then again I LOVE travelling

Of course u dont go into it blindly. U SAVE like crazy and u have plans in place. last year when I went to the love parade in SF, i stayed with my friend who lived in San Jose. When I went down to Miami, I stayed with other ppls. You book thru priceline, etc. travel with friends. There are always way to cut down costs. :]

well ok international will always COST $$$$. but you can still find ways to maximize ur experience

That's one thing that's great about travel - meeting new people... I recently went to Seattle for the first time. I talked to a few people on the Pacific/NW forum about my trip. Before I knew it, I was with a bunch of them going out for a weekend ski trip in the Cascades, and hitting up clubs and house parties, etc. Now I know people out there I can stay w/ whenver there's a show, and the same goes for them coming over here....

don't use not knowing anybody as an excuse for staying home... some of the best times can be had when you go it on your own

I am very proud of NYTA that this thread got sunk all the way down to the 4th page.

Now that that's fixed ...

The email from made-events says
"The #1 DJ in the world plays his solo debut at Roseland Ballroom!"

Hmm...so I'm guessing no one is opening for him? Kinda sucks, imho. I'm still going.

Jerry Bonham's opening from 9-12, PvD is 12-6. It's on Made's site

Is Jerry Bonham good?

Posted by umes23 on Feb-16-2006 06:43:

jerry bonham's a decent opener. he plays different kinds of stuff and keeps it interesting but never bangs it out too hard

you're crazy imo Bonham is a prefect opener for paul. Obv he isn't exactly going to bang it out before paul comes on, but his style goes with pauls very well.

Hes a great producer also with releases on Bedrock, SAW, Vapour, looq.

this is why i answered the guy's question with "jerry bonham is a decent opener." if he's decent, it means he's doing his job! sorry but im not HUGE into any openers i've ever seen and im not going to call him perfect in any way. like i said, he does opening duties just fine for pvd, and he's decent. overall, my response was meant to be positive, not negative... YOU'RE craaaaazy!
