the reason myspace is so good is that 1. its free. 2. it provides a level playing field to musicians to promote their stuff. 3. it is very strong on google. so if someone hears a track by you and searchs you then you will come up very near the top. 4. everyone goes on myspace now and you will be surprised who checks you out if you are a 'friend' with a producer they like....

its a win win situation imo

just wish they updated their servers... really frusterating when you're trying to listen to an artist's music and a third of the way in, the song stops playing

I think there is general and MUSIC My space.

mine is general, I would like ot make it music, maybe that way it's more easy for people to find me, and get to knwo mor epeople.

check the faq or help. the option is to change to a 'band profile' if i remember rightly. its quite easy to see on the faq i think. i remember having to copy a link and paste it into the address bar while being online. hope this helps
