I don't know who this Dick guy is, but RIP. I found out about this through someone's link to here.

A couple years ago, I read on my car club, a young kid (probably 19-20 y/o) died while street racing. That thread go to some 30 pages before it was locked. Many people said he deserved it for street racing and obviously that was a controversial claim. But in the end, it was a young kid who probably had a bright future in front of him.

Anyway, RIP DickRenegade, whoever you were.

Dude the guy you talking about was into street racing, and people are supposed to have accidents in drunk street racings and stuff.

But the guy we are talking about here was a doctor, he uploaded a trance mix once, some people didnt liked it that time and have now linked his death to 'karma' and stuff.

i realized while checking my aim logs that i have talked to him before. he messaged me last fall about a girl he lost and wanted to get back with. he kept insisting that he could snap his fingers and have any girl he wanted and after our initial conversation he kept sending me links to pictures of gay porn and saying cocky stupid things. while i am sorry for his friends and family, the guy was pretty immature for a guy of his age. no matter what any of you say about "saying bad things after a persons death," what little impression i had of him through our short conversations, wasnt good.

i think more evidence is in order the Dr. who died was the TA DR. someone would need to have a lot of discipline to achieve that much. of course he could have used his online time to be the immature brat he couldnt be irl

if the mods can pull "DickRenegade"'s IP address we may be able to look up its general geographical location. though that would be productive and getting a mod to be productive isnt easy

I did that a while ago and was too lazy from is website. The 'whois' info on it had his name, address, phone number and contact info.

The kid who died street racing wasn't drunk. He lost control of his car and smashed into a concrete barrier. (No one else was injured.)

Sure this guy on TA was a doc and all, but who's to say the [life]/[death] of a 28 y/o doctor is [worth more]/[sadder] than a 19 y/o kid's? I'm not saying one is more valuable than the other but I don't think anyone else can claim it either.

It's always shocking to hear about the death of someone you came in contact with, no matter how much you despised them.

You know, I found this thread by googling a very good friends name on a lark. First, though, I found her brothers obituary. Of course, I knew he was dead. I went to his funeral. I have been friends with both of them for many years. And the things you have said here? They are just wrong.

He pissed you off on your little website? He hurt your little feelers? He made you realize that you were pathetic or stupid? So what. Tough shit.

He wasnt Hitler. He was just a guy. A guy with an ironic sense of humor, a brilliant mind and an incredibly big heart. And he was well loved. You?

Most of you suck. You were right, hopefully, that his family may never read this but his friends just might. Even with Saddam being sentenced to hang, I feel no joy. It is a human life. I realize that isnt much to some people but to othersit is everything.

His life meant much to his mother, his father and his sister. Not to mention, his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousinsand friends that he kept through his whole life. How many of you are still friends with the boy that sat beside you the first day of kindergarten?

Joe was a fantastic man, a great friend and probably more successful in his short life than most of you will be with three times as long to prove it.

I hope you sleep well at night. Then again, you probably do. Ignorance is bliss. Gee, I do hope karma is ignorant, for your sakes. Dont mourn him. He doesnt need you to. He has real people that care.

It's also a real shame for his family. I doubt they'll read this though. But it is.

I didn't really know him or anything so I'm not going to get too gushy about it, but I'd think any negative references about what he was like on here would be in the poorest possible taste.

(and any little flamewar type stuff can be done in PMs surely rather than here eh?)

Well said.

So you come on here to bash everyone? Indeed, he may have been a good person. But in the 6th world that we call the internet he came across as a very cocky, ignorant and pissed off person who would hit on any member who ever so slightly presented themselves as a woman. This is a site about music. Yes, the chill out room is filled with many egotistical and snotty folk, he did nothing to try to set himself above the vast majority of the people here.

What are famous word to live by? Do unto others as they would do unto you.

What did he do? Piss many people off and present himself with a red aura around himself.

Am I sad he died? Sure. I never wish death on anyone. Am I sad at how I acted towards him? No. If he came across warm and receptive, he would have received that back.

It's ironic that you mock us people online ( even if I didn't reply to this thread when it was originally created ) for the behavior we had in regards to his death yet you took all the replies so seriously.

Perhaps he was a wonderful person in real life but the way he behaved on this forum was a dick attitude, and perhaps you should consider that he had a double personality hidden from his friends and family...

oh well...

so long.
