All I was saying was that you need to expand the scope of your argument. Yes, Socrates most likely used his method at trial. However, the point is that he was there FOR disturbing the peace and for threatening the order. They would not have let him go out and do that which is was being tried for to prove that he was innocent of what he was...doing?
Plato wrote in the style of his teacher and himself. If you read his Republic he has conversations with himself and people passed away. It was a method of conveying ideology without worrying too much about historical accuracy.
I read the Republic too. Of course the stuff Plato writes is going to be in his own tongue because Socrates NEVER wrote anything down. So Plato had to try to reenact the discussions that Socrates tought him about - whether they are accurate is not a debate Im gonna get into because I am no philosophy guru.
Also, the Oracle of Delphi is complete bullocks because the hills upon which these structures were built on emitted monoxide gases, which made the servants of god high, thus the illusion of a god speaking through you.
As far as him getting out, he had the opportunity to get out, but he chose to stay in the cave because he believed in his teachings and was willing to die for them, bringing forth the ingenius riddle.

A number of things.
I got her a Christmas present before we got together, which she wears every day.
Planned an entire day around making her happy, copious amounts of yayo, champagne, massages and cooked her a fancy dinner.
Made an edited version of the badger badger flash animation with funny bits relating to us.
Got her a plush toy of said badger for Valentine's Day (plus some silk nightclothes).
Rampant Rabbit Deluxe.
Then there is the ongoing cheese I love like constant cuddles, hair stroking, and the best goddamn kisses in the world!!

I was just doing some SOP hehe
When i first started seeing my current gf, i set up something on my computer like 6 hours before. She came into my room and i asked her for a hug, whilst hugging i leant over and tapped enter on the keyboard and Savage Garden - Truly madly deeply came on. And i'll never forget the ear to ear suprised smile on her face, we danced to that song and now whenver i hear it it just makes my day 
Also for a present i got a small glass vase, filled it with decorative sand and put a ribbon on the top. I wrote in gold pen over 100 words on 100 pieces of black card...things like "gorgeous" "life changing" ect and mixed them into the sand. Then put a note on the ribbon saying something like "A 100 of your qualities still doesn't describe how great you are"
So on a sad day, she'll randomly pick a card out and it makes her happy for the rest of the day
i gave her a box of KD for valentines day.
