His Kool-Aid man skit is the best. That and the one about somebody falling into a lion pit at the zoo - "Hold my arm, I think I see one - is that a lioness? Is that a lioness in that bush? I think it's a lioness."
The way he says "lioness" is fucking hilarious.
Dane Cook = God...He is pure halarity

I saw the episode where he slapped Jimmy Kimmell, haha!
Any one who can bust or pop in the breaks room deserves some credit!
For some ppl(myself included) Just get lost when they dance, the MUsic just takes over, and thats the way it should be, your body will adapt to dancing the more you Dance!
Back in the day, everyone danced like it was there last night on earth! Who knows what i'm talkin about? Better living Center Parties!
Wow, this thread is old. But! It's the only one I found,so...
I was looking for info on this very thing, examples of some of the different types of dancing out there. Thanks to those who posted vids. I think I'm interested in learning locking, but not so much popping. I say I think, because I'm not positive on the differences between them. I've seen some dancing and I'm not always sure what I'm looking at, popping, locking or both.
I was really into a dance I saw a guy doing once and someone said that it was called flow, but, I have seen examples of what others posted as flow and it was the same type of stuff everyone calls liquid, and not much like what I'd seen that other guy doing. Are flow and liquid actually the same thing? Can anyone show examples?...
Is anyone even here anymore?...
*echo echo echo*
Actually, I sorta just answered my own question. I hit YouTube and a couple of other places, asked some questions, did some searching on pop-lock, stuff popped up, and the answer lies in a car commercial I saw years ago. This girl, Dusty something, is doing what I was told was "flow". I don't actually care what it's called at this point, I want to learn it.

The hell?...
wow, what a coincidence, i was out for beers earlier tonight and had so many conversations about liquid...
FunkyCrew actually posted a vid back when this thread had started of a guy named David Elsewhere, he's known for his own take on liquid...only thing is with him, if you're battling someone, his moves are great and all, but in a club, its not something you'd be doing for hours and hours...if you look at someone like liquid eric for example, thats one take on liquid you could use all night.
I Know a guy who watching his take on liquid, would actually make you sick. his routine is doing all these motions like he's eating something, like he's about to throw up, even like he's pulling out his intestines, its sick shit that fucks you up, but damn cool little twist on it.
i'll post some vids of David elsewhere Bernal, I have a good collection of them, and also some of liquid eric in a few minutes. it gives you a good representation of the differences between the two, and i also have a video called "liquid tutorial" from liquid Pop Collective i'll post as well hoping you find it helpful in some way.
DAVID ELSEWHERE:
I Suggest you watch them all, but the last one is by far the best one, as the saying goes, save the best for last, its from David's earlier days, and shows some really sick conceptual stuff that you dont see in the other vids
This one is nothing too out of the ordinary from the others, but the editing and music (telephasic workshop) make it stand out to me
This is a good one, it almost makes you feel like theres something wronmg with him, like he's some sorta wierdo, good little clip.
tune in the one below is also by 'boards of canada'
Last but certainly not least, this is by far the sickest elsewhere vid out there, crazy shit.
Hey, thanks!
Is Eric the vid I saw at the start of this thread somewhere, the guy in front of the arcade game? That, especially towards the end, was sick. And the other vid posted, the liquid guy with the fro. I loved it.
At least I know I'm sorta on the right track now, I actually found an example of what style I'm trying to find instruction on, the You Tube link I posted of the Mitsubishi girl. I like that because it has the sharp "freeze" element to it, which I guess would be the locking...and but it also have very loose and smooth elements to it. Some of the other pop-locking vids I've just seen are not really for me, they're a little too all over the place. I like the smooth intensity of the other.
Now I have to find out what snapping is. One night when I was dancing, there was a huge group breaking a few feet away from where I was (I don't break, obviously), and one of the guys came up to me out of nowhere and asked if he could dance with me. Apparently something about the way I was moving made him ask me if I would snap, or rather, he asked me if I could snap. I have no idea what that is.
Liquid Pop Collective Videos:
these include Liquid Eric:
i think thats all i wanted to post.
He is insane!!
I LOVE the first one. Thanks for posting these. I'm on a slow connection, but I will definitely get through all of these.
