Definitely worth a review.

Holden was golden!!! That's for sure. He even dropped our request! ♥ Haven't had such a good time like this in forever!

It was great to see some of you last nite, Mel, My Ambs, Luis, Felipe, Rachel, Phil, Kelly, Rzo, & Bling. It had been too long.

The Sky Was Pink♥

Phill, Great seeen YOU make it out.

I think I got to the club too early.. I was in Pain with what I listening to through about 3 hours, that opening DJ was really killing me. There came a point where I couldnt handle it.. when Holden came I felt blessed haha, and somehow Holden managed to bring he's Holden Sound. Things started to get dirty bit after 3..( I mean really good ) didnt stay for the whole set ( Im not coming that early to a club never again ).. Holden is not predictable, thats the great thing about it. Great to see many TA"s.. I wasnt jumping around like always lol.. My eyes were hurting like a mofo..

damon your post on bling are always enertaining, but this angst towards bling is getting played out bro. dont get me wrong you had a nice run at it for the last three years, but its time to bury the hatchet and move on. spread the love brotha damon...

I don't think he played the nathan fake remix of Sky was Pink.. i wwish cuz that remix owns! He also played COOOOOOOOOOOOME TOOOOOO MEEEEEEEE

Mmm sexy song :]

well yeah my first time seeing Holden and omg.. HIS SOUND IS AMAZING! Like no other so indeed it was a great night. Hung out with a bunch of TA's and I def wanna catch Holden during WMC next year.

Very Unique sound :] only thing i didn't like was that I felt like it was a rave.. With all the people walking around super crowded.

Rasta

What a night!!! Holden seriously rocked it ..... i'm glad others agree w/ me on the opening DJ. Total wackness IMO. My boys n I couldnt stand it and chilled elsewhere until Holden came on.

It took a little bit for Holden to get going, but when he did ....Damn! It couldnt get better than that nasty prog he was throwing down To me the sound was flawless, the mixing was flawless, and the tunes were rockin'!!!!!! Loved every minute of it since he doesnt come down to S. FL too often.

Pawnshop was def. packed throughout most of the night but cleared out somewhat after it was peoples' bedtimes..lol. I hope Holden can find time to come down here more often. I know I say that a lot, but he's too good a DJ to visit once/twice a year!!!!!!!!! What a GREAT NIGHT! Respect......

yeah monk and whoever spun after him, that fat dude, tore it up.

I think holden played from about 1-5 from when I walked in to lights-on. The whole night I recognized 1-2 tracks, sky is pink of course maybe another. Pawnshop was crowded like wmc space for a while, but that cleared up around 4 ish. By the end of his set there were only like 50-100 people left, I think...
Dark, trippy, twisted bassy prog all night ftw

Posted by FallingMoon on May-28-2006 00:15:

I knew people would like him first time seeing him.

He has a distinct sound not at all comparable. I remember when I saw him in 2004 he had A+++ mixing so he's been at that for a while...kid puts a lot of prog DJs to SHAME but then again he's just in a diff. class.

Wish I could have made it, I am not at all a fan of prog but when it comes to Holden you have to make an exception

im too drunk right now to post more but my god... i love holden like i dont know what. hahaha james golden ftw!

great seeing so many ta's! more later

music as just like he always is....awesome ...funny thing is the peeps who said he played to proggy, he played like 3-4 prog tracks the rest was all techno of the border community style, one of his prog killers though was the track i told him if he really wanted to see the club go off, to play and he took my advice and played it even though it is 3 yrs old JFOS- do what u want (infusion rmx) as he brought it in i left the booth to go out on the floor and at that point the party was kickin, all the old school holden fans knew the track and were singing and jumping all around, when i went back up to talk with james he said to me, hmm i guess u were right they did love that track! fucking awesome, his mixing was on point but a couple fuck ups due to the fact that he just got a new pair of technics protoype headphones and during his set he told me they sucked ass and he wont use them again...lol...and yes he definitely played nathan fake- the sky was pink (james holden rmx
