-- My Challenge ... You Liberals vs Rush Limbaugh - Have What It Takes?

LOL! You guys are all pretty funny. I appreciate your passion though, mis-guided as it is.

I already explained my beliefs about Rush and the law and what could be going on there to my satisfaction, so I'm kinda done with that. Make of it whatever you want.

Getting back to the real topic at hand here;

As for Tiesto having left this thread, I see no evidence of that. All I see is a bunch of excuses here from the people who say that they can't or won't take the challenge for one reason or another. What's Tiesto supposed to do if no one is serious about taking the challenge? Sit here and post in this thread every hour on the hour until someone does?

I'd like to also suggest that Tiesto's credibility is on the line. I can't see him NOT paying the caller. Perhaps a little trust might go a long way here? Besides, if you're all as confident as you are in your abilities and convictions, it should be a pleasure for you to take Rush to task, right?

And if Tiesto didn't pay, I'm sure he'd be shamed in to never posting here again. Seems like quite a risk worth taking for the vast majority of Liberals on this board, no? A possible chance to put Rush in his place and have Teisto never post here again if he doesn't pay? A real win-win for you guys.

Speaking of that thread, WTF? Why did I get singled out for "Spamming"?

Like I was the only one.

he hasnt posted here in the past 22 hours and his last post here was anything but encouraging drug tito, who might be up to the challenge and i quote: "nah, he wont do it. ".

Well, the way I read that post by Tiesto is DT needs to get himself a Pay Pal account happening before any further action can take place.

The ball is in his court now, no?

i believe drug tito will need more assurance in order to create a paypal account, considering it will cost him both time & money (even if only $2 or so)to do so.

Posted by donnybrasco on May-16-2006 19:06:

Well, my response to that would be; "Nothing in life is free"...it's all part of earning the $100.

Unless of course, like I said, DT is willing to take Tiesto's word that he is good for the money and just make the call without jumping through so many hoops to get a Pay Pal account.

Look..t14 has already been banned a couple of times and has so often been switching sides and making contradictory points that I really don't think he cares much about his credibility. Anyway, I'm in the US atm, so I suppose most people here know about paypal and ebay. Now, really..if I were to give 2$ every time someone made me an offer to get a lot of money, I'd really be a couple of million in debt. But here's my offer. I'll give you, tiesto, my address and you send me 2$ in a letter through mail. Then I can either set up an account, or if I don't you can brag about how I cheated you and evaded calling Rush all you want. Please ask for the post office to give you a confirmation of when the letter arrives, so that if it arrives and I don't ackgnowledge it, you can scan it and post it up here. Then you and I can set up both paypal and ebay accounts and I'll gladly make a call. Unfortunately, if I don't get on the air, you'll loose 70 bucks. But hey, what's that compared to ruining my and confirming your credibility? Say, you for it? C'mon!

Send him a PM about this thread...he may have gotten fed-up with PDD in the last few days and left for awhile.

Nah, don't wanna bother. Sending PM's to stupid people usually backfires because they start spamming. That's what I learned so far..

Posted by donnybrasco on May-20-2006 07:40:

Well, in all fairness, we can't discount his offer until an honest effort is made to contact him.

Would you like me to do it?

Well..It's not like the thread is hidden from his view or anything. I mean, he knows how to find it. But if it will make your day, sure, send him a pm.

not according to trancaholic.

You might have to call or email your bank to get the code, though, and depending on how common eBay trading is in Croatia, this might involve talking to bank clerks who haven't got a clue as to what you're talking about.

Well..I didn't quit the forum. Funny how he didn't say anything for like 5 days then makes 5 posts in 5 minutes and gets himself banned. I did go to create myself a paypal account in the meanwhile, but I didn't notice anywhere that it asked me to take 2$ away from me. Is it somewhere in the fine print or something? And it asked me for some numbers on my checking card which are of a pretty different format than what my card has written on it, so I didn't manage to finish making the account. And they don't serve Croatia, just the US so it's not like it's gonna be too meaningful to me a month from now. Anyways, it's not that it matters anymore.

I did a check on Paypal's site, and apparently they have gotten themselves an entirely new fee structure as of 18 August 2005. They still have listed the $1.95 fee for activating your account to expanded use, but now it seems that this fee is not charged upon sign-up, but rather when you explicitly request to have your limits removed. My bad - I've had my account for a couple of years.
