| Revolution Void's latest album Increase the Dosage has been released through a Creative Commons license granting free distribution. Revolution Void combines electronic beats with jazz improvisation to create a unique style of music termed Electronic Breakbeat Jazz. The album Increase the Dosage features guest performances by musicians such as Seamus Blake (the Mingus Big Band), Michael Shrieve (Santana) and Matthew Garrison (Herbie Hancock). The album was released initially on 4/4/2004 but the short-run self-released pressing quickly sold out. It was released again on 9/25/05 in a web package with full album art. The web package is a self-contained website with hyperlinks directly from the tracklist to MP3's. It features 4 pages of full-color artwork by Seattle artist Shawn Wolfe. Since its release, the album has spread rapidly through P2P networks such as BitTorrent. It has been featured on numerous blogs and music review websites, including All Music Guide. (www.allmusic.com) Excerpt of All Music Guide review by Matt Borghi: The Revolution Void recording is excellent and shows quite a gifted blend of sounds that defy genre specification, coming together and becoming quite cohesive. This is a very eclectic recording and one that certainly rewards the listener with a palette for new and intriguing sound. This is a great disc, and one that listeners should definitely look into. 4/5 stars. Combining electronic breakbeats with jazz improvisation, the album has been described as Herbie Hancock meets the Chemical Brothers! |

I don't know if it is smaller, but it's seperate from the rest of the guv and it won't be a like a corridor!
I guess I can make the comparsion it's like the 19+ room at destiny parties. [seperate from the rest of the place]
This is my assumption of course, I could be totally wrong.
Had the pleasure of seeing DJ Eskmo at a party in San Francisco last weekend. His whole set was his own productions, and they were off the hook!
Here is one of his mixes that he has up on his site (www.eskmo.com) although they aren't composed of solely his productions. There are also some downtempo mixes on his website as well.

whoever hasnt downloaded the set posted ^^^^^^^^^ is seriously missing out
EDIT: heres a few tracks in there that i remembered names/mixes of:
Stir Fry - Lose Control (original mix)
Dave Gahan - Dirty Sticky Floors (silencer mix)(im pretty sure thats a silencer mix cos of the production style)
General Midi - We've been waiting
Freeland - We want your soul
Underworld - cowgirl
General Midi - Entertainer
im dying to remember which track is at the 65 min mark...FUCK...its been bothering me that i cant remember
just finished downloading the General Midi set (after considerable difficulty opening up space on my HD)
I havent had a chance to listen to the whole thing from start to finish yet, but I skimmed it and i'm now 20min in and its a pretty sick set! GM has a wicked style, I'm really likin it... but i gotta say I like his Summer Promo better... its deeper, and darker imo.
DL this shit mofo's.
^^^^the trancey breaks tracks he uses are fuckin intense....

Was in HMV at SQ1 yesterday, wanted to pick up a good Breaks CD, and they had nothing, absolutely nothing. Allt hey had was tons of commerical House & Trance compilations, and really old albums. I had to choose between Dieselboy's 'The HUMAN Resource' and Marco V's '200V'. I chose Dieselboy.
