need gatecrasher advice

Hi all - I am new to the board. I live in the New York area but I have been craving a trip to the UK lately.

I can see from the line-up that this party will be awesome, but is it worth the trip out there or should I come for some other event?
Please advise - we don't get djs like that all in one place over here...

Excellent news that Tiesto was there I was sort of worried that he weren't going to be there cos last GCSSS I thought his set was brilliant . All we need now is another trance arena for the Flemmings, Kellys, Ornadels, and JFKs and co like the Inside Out arena sort of but I don't think there would be one but it would be very nice if there was .

Posted by Kinuvan on May-01-2002 16:20:

mmmm so much choice, mmm my first view of Tiesto (hopefully). WOnder how I'm gonna get there, wonder if Holly will give me a lift, prolly depends on how attached she is to her boyfriend at that time, hmm.

Booking the weekend off today

Posted by Dj O'Callaghan on May-03-2002 15:03:

I can't wait for this it was the DADDY last year even if it did rained no one gave a shit, I had the time of my life at last years GCSSS, really good event I had a good laugh there, this year though make sure you bring a big wedge of money, cos me and my mate Lynch had to que at the ATM for about 40 minutes it was a killer, even though Pete Tong was playing so we didn't really miss much haha.

Posted by Ste on May-03-2002 18:13:

isnt tiesto is just a late booking coz he had other plans around the time, the special guest will be a live PA i expect!

Posted by Dj O'Callaghan on May-03-2002 18:16:

LOL I hope the Live PA is someone like Dreamcatcher , then the time they play in acts like a piss break, so I can go on a trek and have a piss and buy some bits and pieces.

Posted by jon on May-03-2002 18:21:

i wonder if rank 1 could be the special guest?

Posted by Dj O'Callaghan on May-03-2002 18:26:

I personally don't think they'll have a PA, because there was none last year, plus theres too many quality Djs too see.

Posted by Kinuvan on May-06-2002 18:10:

yeah i'm seriously worried about how I'm gonna fit everything into my 15 hrs:P

Posted by Ste on May-06-2002 18:47:

ok tiesto is special guest, i read it on this big fuckoff poster outside crasher

Posted by tu_face on May-07-2002 13:30:

he's only just been added becoz he has had to re-arrange his appointment to see the queen of holland, he's getting an award for bein wicked and helping dutch music...

that isnt a lie either..

ricky effe is doing a live PA with mauro picotto... my guess is that that is the 'special guest'

well no suprising considering he DJ'ed at the prince and princesses marriage party! the monarch sucker-upper!

Posted by Kinuvan on May-07-2002 16:36:

Their monarchy is better than ours

Posted by Mallard on May-07-2002 23:12:

Now if only someone would come and shoot some of our leading politicians in the head...

Posted by Miss Proximus on May-08-2002 07:53:

he wasn't a leading politician!

he wasn't even in the government yet, the elections were (are) to be held next week. he was considered to be getting loads of votes.

i thought about this you know....he annoyed me so much i felt like shooting him....but i never thought anyone would actually DO it! and he was planning on coming to my hometown just before it happened....is this some sort of message? am I cursed? *rants*

anyway..(listen to me mamma whehe) Calla: I dunno if you asked your mums friend about the tickets, but I just wanted to let you know it's not doable for us anymore to come to the UK. We have the loveparade (more expensive than we thought) and Dancevalley-> Ant DEPSERATELY wants to go there I'd rather go to SSS though

ah hell....next year

Posted by Mallard on May-08-2002 08:05:

I know he wasn't actually in parliament, but I was in Holland recently (not that far from Leeuwarden, actually), and I was hearing about him all over the place.

Like his ingenius plan to take computers out of schools so that teachers could just get on with teaching - that's a forward-thinking man in action
