La France est bien suprieure l'Angleterre (quelle attaque et quel gardien lol) et la pauvre Italie (quelle pauvret part sa dfense), a c'est clair

i have a few cousins that got sent to Austrailia after they were jailed in Italy like a 100 years ago.

1. i wonder if they are alive
2. i wonder who they supported
3. i wonder if they are rioting

Ahh what do you do

Penalty 50/50.

Red card definitely not there...

They had the better chances, defended extremely well, lacked a bit of pacce (emerton) and creativity(kewell). Cannavarro tore Viduka a new asshole. Would have like to see viduka come off, a few more positive changes.

Brescciano got sucked in... Neill was awaiting the shot... this is the beauty of the world cup...Emotions up and down.

Good luck to the spags, they will do some damage!

admit it, you both sucks this WC

I agree with Paulie I think the Aussies got hurt with their suspensions and Viduka Ive never been a fan of.

I think Aussie football is on the up though and next time around they will make their mark on the Cup even more so. Aussies are great athletes so if they get behind football they could be dangerous

Posted by fastmp3 on Jun-26-2006 17:43:

yes aussie football is going up, but not enough to reach the QF, let's be honest here they're not among the football elite

not yet but they will be Im sure after 2012 the 2016 World Cup will go to the Aussies which Im praying for. They deserve it more than any other rising football nation. No disrespect to America who I will point out in comparison they never came close to the fan support the Roo's got in Germany and back home

thats very true. The fan support for the less elite nations like korea and australia has been phenomenal while fans of the bigger countries dont seem to get behind their team and you hear a lot of booing when the team hasnt scored by the end of the first half.

thought i'd help you out with the dates

i thought the aussies had a pretty decent team. the come back against japan was one of the highlights of the tournament so far.

cheers I beleive watching every match each day and all that green has gotten into my head and fucked me up

Australia will play in Asian zone, btw?

Posted by chesco on Jun-26-2006 18:41:

The refs seem intent on ruining this tournament, it was a great game up until materazzi was wrongly dismissed. Then we seen italy play their typical defensive style which was totally understandable.

Thought the first half australia dominated possession but did very little with it, wheras italy had 3 or 4 very good chances to score.

All in all a fair result.
